How can someone Drive massive traffic to his blog?

There are lots of ways to drive traffic to your blogs.

The problem with most of marketers is that they totally depend only on the search engine traffic.

But, if you really want to drive very sustainable traffic to your blogs, I recommend that you diversify your traffic generation activities among multiple traffic sources.

There are many ways to drive traffic as long as your blog has good content and is SEO friendly.

I've got mine from several Forums and Yahoo Groups. I was able to gain trust by sharing my thoughts in different interest groups. Became some sort of an authority figure in 1 forum and 2 Yahoo Groups. LOL. I didn't expect that but it just happened. Total 60k readers.

The signature is your weapon in both channels but it shouldn't be spammy.

I've been searching non-stop on more ways and found Articles sites. I wrote some articles and readers start coming to my sites. Not only articles sites bring traffic, it brings quality traffic too. AND it will help to rank you well in the Search Engines.

I'm now bringing traffic from Facebook. This is the real hyper-web. Each page and post in my blogs will have an FB LIKE button. If 1 of your visitor happen to have an FB account and he LIKED your post, it will appear on his FB Wall. And if he happened to have 500 friends, his 500 friends will see the LIKE for your post. And it goes on and on. Real hyper.

This is not enough, however. You need to post some videos on YouTube, Vimeo, Metacafe and etc. Make a video using Movie Maker, place some nice music over it and some messages or images on the slides. Use only royalty free ones. Your description on the videos is the KILLER. It will bring traffic if they like what they see and hear from your videos. Again, this helps you rank well in Search Engines.

I've listed only 5 ways that I used so far to bring traffic. What if you have an additional 30 ways and each way has lots of derivatives. Can your server handle the traffic?

seriously, there are tons of ways in generating traffics. range from free to paid. in general you can get instant traffic through paid method, however it can be very costly if done wrongly. free traffic however (ie seo - just one example) will take time. you wont see the result instantly.

so take your pick. just select one primary method and work on it. concentrate. this is the most important part. never give up and change your approach so frequently.

The best way is via means of PPC and other bought traffic. I would also recommend you start your own Facebook group and making a few Youtube videos for it to go viral.

It all depends on how you want to go about it. What is your blog targeting? How are you currently generating traffic now? A few more details would be nice, as there are hundreds of ways you can generate traffic, but each niche is different and has methods that are more effective than others.
