    What verticals work best? Are they asking what verticals you plan on marketing maybe?

    Verticals meaning "niches" "Types" IE: Weight loss, credit repair, dating, email/zip submits...

    They are usually asking what verticals you are in and what offers you've had success with.

    Then most AM's will give you a offer they say is a top converting offer to help you get started with in their network. This is what I've experienced, if you've told them you have a website try to use that vertical so they can see you indeed are in that niche.

    Or also if I'm signing up to a network to be able to promote a particular offer I always ask for a better payout on that offer right out of the gate because I'm usually planning to do a media buy for that offer and it never hurts to ask. You won't always get it, but if your AM knows your excited to promote something right away not only will it help you get accepted but some times helps you get a better payout.

    Hope that helps, Kwin

    Hey guys, quick question - on the application page, the CPA Network wants to know my website URL. As a newbie, I registered a website, which offers freebies, though there is nothing on it yet (meaning the only thing you see is the hosting company). Should I enter that address anyway or leave that field blank in the application form? Many thanks!

      It means what type of offers work best for you.

      Vertical = Category

      IE. Dating, Biz Opp, Health, ETC.

      I would quickly put up a wordpress blog on your site and back-date a couple posts.

      Having a just the default page from your hosting is probably worse than no website, but neither looks good on an application.

      If the application has a comment box, USE it! Explain HOW you are going to promote the offers.

    Most people define vertical as niche.

    Recently I was told by Tim Atkinson of Commission Overload (an ex-affiliate manager) that a Vertical is a type of offer such as:

    (1) email submit;
    (2) free trial;
    (3) zip submit etc
    Signature
