Quick Question about CPM

I have a new site thats doing pretty well. I've had an advertiser approach me asking what my CPM rate would be for a $2k-$5K buy in. I'm savvy but not advertising on my blog savvy yet. What info do I need to drill down on to figure out a fair price? I'll be using a 250x250 main ad for this, any help would be highly appreciated..thanks all!

If you have adsense installed, you can have an idea from the RPM column.

Consider where your traffic somes from (countries), how targeted your visitors are and how many impressions you get per unique visit. You can also take a look on how much other similar sites are charging on sites like BuySellAds, AdBrite and BlogAds, but remember that those prices include the fee of the ad network. Also, since you will be receiving over $3K upfront, consider giving a discount.
