International Facebook Ads Language Question

I have only focused doing ads to English speaking countries. I am thinking about testing some international CPA offers. My question is should those ads be in the native language for each country? France=French; Germany=German, etc? I would prefer to just do English and be able to select numerous countries as I think most people know English well enough. Otherwise I need to setup differnt ad for each country. Any advice from people who have tested?

Yes you should always try and make them in the native language - that's where the volume is

If an ad works for the US, chances are that it will also work for France as well (as long as you target the same audience). However, yes, you need to use the idiom of the country that you're targeting.

When I direct link I just use Google Translator for the ad, but if I need to create a landing page, an email series or anything more complex I hire a freelancer to translate my stuff. You can find people to translate things for you at elance.com, italk.com or translatorsbase.com.

I think language is not a great problem. You should use image in your ad with description. It will do a great work for you.

Even if half your would-be clickers speak English (unlikely) the ones who don't have just cut your ROI down by over a factor of 2x. That could be the difference between a profitable and unprofitable campaign.

The key is not to make your life easy, but to make the experience for your client great. Focus on the customer. Write to them in their own language :-).

onehourtranslation.com works well or you can just do it yourself in Google. Best.
