Could I get suspended?

Hi there,

Recently I was accepted to few CPA networks.

With Maxbounty, after I was approved I have been sent an offer I should first test (the affiliate manager told me on the phone that he has an offer for me that I should test and he will see what EPC I am able to get or something like that).

I wanna ask you guys, do you think that if I don't get any traffic and no people to do the desired action of that CPA offer, my account will get suspended? (By the way, the offer is a risk free trial, but requires a credit card submission, the CPA rate is $40 per action).

Also, if you are temporarily passive within a network and don't work on promoting their offers anyhow, could your account possibly be terminated? I'm just asking for your experience and thoughts.

Don't think so. However, if you're new to IM you might find it a little bit tricky to promote a CC trial.

You shouldn't worry. Just because they suggest you promote an offer doesnt mean you need to promote it and if you do promote and and don't get any conversions it doesn't hurt them at all so they won't care.

I have also had accounts where I didnt earn any commissions for many many many months without it beign terminated. Of course networks occasionally do a wash of inactive accounts.

It's okay to be a newbie at networks though!

I am a complete newbie in CPA, so I thought I would have to promote just the offer my AM sent over to me first... Thanks for replies guys.

Kenster, thanks for the reply and by the way, I have bought your Rags to Riches and liked it very much!

yeah - your AM is just suggesting offers to you. That doesn't mean you have to run them. Most networks have a certain amount of time for deleting "inactive" accounts. It's usually something reasonable like several months of inactivity. Even then, they usually send you an e-mail alerting you that you've been inactive.

    Hi Tekamolo,

As you've read from other people, the campaign suggestion was just that - a suggestion. It is totally your discretion if you run it, decide to run something else, or hold off for a while on any offer. While we'd obviously prefer that you run something, you will not have your account suspended if you don't.

Feel free to ask if you have more questions.

I belong to many Affiliate Networks.

Sometimes, I am promoting offers from all Networks, but more often than not I am only promoting offers on half of the Networks at any one time.

I have never had any trouble with the Networks when I have been inactive for a while.

That your AM is suggesting an offer to you doesnt mean you have to promote it. It wont hurt them even if you dont make progress with it after promoting.

    dude don't worry at all!!
its just an offer to encourage you. not to see your quality
but i think you should take that offer.
the fear that you have now will help you to do more work on your site and your conversion will increase and you will learn the real theme of work
