You read the question and I am sure that I will be blasted by a few warriors for even asking. I have read a lot of threads about it, and still have no idea what it even is.

Is there decent money to be made? Is it easy to make the money? Is there a quick online course that I could purchase to learn? Is this the same as affiliate marketing?

CPA=Cost Per Action and is used by PPC's (Pay Per Click) out there and others.... What do you want to know specifically? If it's any good? Sure, if you have money to invest. The ROI (Return On Investment) is better than many other methods but may not be the best method out there.

You are comparing 2 different things, CPA deals with an advertising method while Affiliate Marketing is a marketing practice. Sure, some affiliate marketers do some CPA advertising. Are you trying to make a link between each? I'm not sure I get you so I'll let others comment cause I'm sure you knew all that and perhaps just want to go in deeper on the subject.

CPA means cost per action. You get paid if you can drive traffic to a site and have them do something, usually fill out some kind of online form.

Terminology changes so fast now, I'm trying to figure out "scraping" means

Basically means to take existing content and put it onto your site in bits; maybe by taking news, information and video.

It gets mashed up in the hope that some search engine traffic finds its way there.

CPA by definition means Cost Per Action, so that could include both filling out a form and/or purchasing a product.

So as an affiliate marketeer you could promote a CPA offer such as filling out a form to get a Walmart card, thus earning an affiliate payment for the action.

But you could also promote a physical product and someone could make a purchase of that item, so are you saying this would not be considered CPA?

CPA stands for Cost Per Action. A good example of this would be the form you submit when getting an online insurance quote. When you send someone to this and they complete the form, you get paid a commission whether they actually buy something or not in the end.

Commission Junction and Neverblue are 2 of the most popular cpa networks, and it's a little harder to get affiliated with them than it is with most regular affiliate programs as they usually want to review your website first. If you already have a legitimate quality website it's fairly easy though.

I've never reviewed any courses on CPA myself, so maybe someone else can give a suggestion.

CPA may have been easier a year or 2 ago, before everyone jumped in and saturated it and it's traffic sources. Some big money products like akai berry and others using forced continuity CC re-billing have effectively been shut down.

Due to the high earning potential CAP courses tend to be costly, many around $1000, one bargain $47 WSO course that came out about 6 months ago, Conversion Campus has about 10 hours of video covering all the major traffic sources and tracking.

I just registered for Peerfly. I am hoping that I get accepted. Then I will give it a shot. I have done Cashcrate, is that a CPA system. I mean they paid me to fill out forms...so I guess that they do CPA. Is it along the same lines

The full form of CPA is Cost Per Click. It means that if you are an advertiser and wants to pay for showing advertisements online, and you may select this type of payment. It means you have to each time someone will click on your ads. If you are a publisher and want to use those advertisement in your blog. and select this type of ads. Then you will get paid on per click basis.

CPA simply means cost per action. It is a system of search advertising. It could be pay per sale or pay per lead.
