MediaTraffic URLs - My URLs contain "secure"...I have to compete with "Cure"?

So I set up my first PPV campaign on Media Traffic today. I went to a few scrapper tools, got a bunch of URLs related to my offer, and went through them manually, looking for deeper URLs that would be relevant to my offer.

So my campaign gets approved, and I don't get any traffic. I somewhat expected this, being new to PPV marketing and having set all my bids to barely above minimum. I went to see what the problem was. Turns out my targeted URLs are being affected by much broader targets. URLs with "secure" in it are being affected by string "cure". Apparently the string "anc" is found in a bunch of my URLs as well, which someone is bidding on.

What's the solution to this? Is there a way to change my target settings so they're not affected by these bids, or am I simply gonna have to deal with the fact that any URL, no matter how specific or targeted, cannot have the 3 letter string "anc", unless I want to pay extra? For that matter, how do people profit targeting something so broad?

Does the url targeting on all the PPV networks function like this? I really like the idea of being able to target individual urls, but it seems to defeat the purpose a bit if my long-tail URL is competing with random 3 letter strings. Then again, people are clearly making money with PPV, so is there a workaround, or is that just the nature of the game?
