Successful Warriors...

I think many of us aspiring CPA marketers would love to hear the single best way to build a long-term CPA biz...it's still January, the year is young and we newbies out here have a ton of energy to move ahead...

Thanks for any an all advice...

Long term would be email marketing CPA offers.

So build lists on different niches then promote the offers.

      I agree.

Of course, there are other alternatives that can make you money faster, specially using paid traffic, but list building still is an amazing route for people to build a solid, long-term stream of income.

In the beginning, I think that people should start with simple campaigns promoting lead gen offers so that they can raise some money and make a good budget. However, when you start getting more advanced you have to change the way you conduct your business.

You can make money by sending people directly from an ad to an offer that pays on a short-form submit. However, if you're making $5 per lead then you're selling a customer for $5 and, although it can be profitable for you and an amazing way to start making money online and gaining experience, it's very little money. A customer is worth a lot more than $5. So if you wnat to hit the big bucks you need to stop selling the customers and start buying them. Before sending people to an offer, make sure that they join your list and become YOUR customer.

You can make 3 figures a day without capturing a single lead, but in order to grow your income to 4 figures a day the best route is certainly to capture leads.

I know for a fact you can have 4 and 5 figure days without capturing a single lead.... lol it's fun sure but doesn't mean it's smart

Anyway, long term biz with CPA. At the end of the day what you want to do is create a traffic source/funnel if possible.

Now, don't think that you need to go out and create the next Google or Facebook, that's not what I''m talking about.

A traffic source can be an e-mail list like others have mentioned, and it's usually the most accessible.

    However, other examples include:

    - freebie sites
    - movie sites
    - apps/widgets
    - prize and GPT sites
    - forums
    - your own lead gen offer

    etc etc...

I guess the easiest way for me to explain it is this.... if you can plug in any good converting and relevant cpa offer into your "community" and it does well, then you've done a good job of what I'm talking about here. Basically the old school method of targeting a specific market and building up from there still works.

One thing I can recommend for those who are new to buying traffic is to try and stick with one or two sources. I've seen plenty of newer publishers put a little bit of money across multiple platforms and in the end, the have nothing to show for it.

In order to build a long term CPA business I think it's important to not only focus on offer promotion but on building your own properties. What I mean by that is building authority sites in given verticals that have value by themselves, and promote CPA offers there, otherwise you are jumping from Offer to offer and don't have anything of value once the offer ends.
And always remember to capture the leads for YOURSELF first, and them send them to CPA offers as you see fit. That way you could potentially build a list that you can make money from on the long run. Don't be spammy though, you have to offer real value as well.

In my opinion, the best long term strategy in CPA and in Internet Marketing is to work everyday!

I agree, the best long term strategy is certainly diversity. I am into all kinds of crazy things now for that very reason. I am quite confident I can be making more than I am if I reorganize my business to focus on the highest margin parts of my business, but I would rather do what I am donig and be very diversified then make even more but be very focused.

Every person/business needs to find that balance of where they want themselves/their businesses to be!

Of course you can't jump out of the gates and be diversified or you will get nowhere, so for a newbie, I would say you need to focus first and then diversify based on your strengths once you get more experienced.

I am new to CPA, but not to online marketing, Start to build a list, this list of mine actually kept me from having to get a job back in 2007 when my sites weren't doing to good. I started emailing more often and got me back on my feet.
