Mobile Advertising with CPA

With mobile advertising becoming far more popular, with more smartphones being created and more applications being purchased it's obvious the big companies are going to be taking advantage of the low CPA costs and premature market of the mobile advertising world.

However, I would like to know what are people's experience with mobile advertising from both an advertiser and publisher opinion.

The reason I ask is because I will be creating several mobile advertising campaigns as a large advertiser, I am already on Neverblue and that is very successful but what do publishers want, what are they finding works best and how are advertisers performing.

    I have a mobile ad agency focused on CPA lead generation and am talking to a lot of advertisers about building mobile CPA campaigns...and talk to a lot of the mob ad networks about buying media so happy to share my experiences.

    I have seen some successful stories here on the forum and know that many guys are killing with mobile marketing. However, when I tried (several months ago), I didn't get good results.

    I know that this is a big wave and I'll have to give it another shot soon, but at this moment I'm focusing on transferring most of my campaigns to another country, not to another platform. I live in Brazil and the market here is great, it really has a lot of potential, so this is the change I'm trying to make now.

    Anyway, what I learned from my expriments is that mobile (still) is different than the regular marketing we do. People using mobile devices are usually looking for quick information and are not buyers (so capturing leads can be a smart choice), we get many unwanted clicks from people who clicked on our ad mistakenly (the screen is too small...), so we can't let the cheap prices fool us, we still have to do the math and make the numbers work in our favor, and, finally, it's really hard to make anything works without a mobile optimized site, lot's of scrolling is a big no no.

    i also don't think its easy to market in this field. the visitors that you will get mostly will be like young and they are not interested in buying so the conversion rate will not be impressive. and as you are successful with Neverblue so it will not impress you. i think so.

    As an advertiser I've run tons of campaigns across multiple MANs. I can tell that the CTR is much higher than on a fixed device and the opt-ins (and sales) reflect that as well. So, the deal that I'm most focused on is targeting and tracking.
    I'm willing to go with a wide shot at first but each ad-group within the campaign is specific. I've had one campaign with upwards of 96 ad-groups. The huge benefit is that I can, in a short period of time, see which ad-groups are working and which aren't and cull the herd.
    The son-of-a-gun is the data entry. But, in the end, it's worth it as I know that when I'm running a specific ad that it has a high propensity to make me money.
    Then when future offers come out I don't have to run such a wide short initially as I have a pretty good idea (based on my historical data) what will work. However, even with using my own information I don't trust it... hah... cuz we're talking about people and they tend to do things differently from time to time.

      What are your experiences with the mobile CPA space nowadays?

      From what I understand, Offermobi may be under new management, and I currently do not work for the company. I do like to keep up to date with mobile marketing though as it constantly fascinates me.

      For example, mobile shopping is expected to be up about 26% during the holiday season from what it was last year.
