    Let me tell you frankly,

If you are completely new to PPC, I don't recommend that you use them right now, because if you don't know what you are doing, you are going to waste them quick. I advice you that you stay away for a moment (until you know and master Adwords).

Adwords is not something that you can play blindly. First, you need to study and master it.
    Once you are ready ...

I recommend that you start with google content network (google display). Because, if you know how to do it the right way, there are lots of opportunities.

    Hope that helps.

just do it set your budget to what ever you feel comfortable with and do it. The first time I used it with click bank a few years ago i made a few hundred bucks the first day, now it might have been just luck but you wont know until you try. Also doing it is the best way to learn it.

Interesting to read, Mike. This is the first time I have read about someone recommending the content network, Mike. Would you please elaborate on why that is the recommended place to start? Thanks

Start off by spending a good week reading up on your traffic source, then pick a niche and start going at it.. but do your research first.

AdWords can be a bit tough and $100 can be not enough to get a profitable campaign going.

If you want to get started with this platform you have to decide on what you will do first. Search or content network? What niche? What type of offers? If I had to get started with AdWords again I think I'd go with the content network, choose a popular niche and capture leads to promote multiple offers with a long email series (like 15+ emails). You can analyze the demographics of your offer and use Google AdPlanner to find placements in the GCN that have the traffic that you need.
