VERY Frustrated with Tracking202...Solutions?

Is there anywhere to get reliable support for tracking202? Everytime I track down an old post on their support forum with issues similar to mine, it seems to have gone unaddressed. I realize its a free service and I do appreciate that, but users still must invest a significant amount of time into the software and it gets frustrating when no help is offered. If anyone here can help out, it'd be really appreciated.

I'm having 2 major issues.

Issue#1: Random clicks from bwonlineinc@gmail.com
I get a random PPC account named bwonlineinc@gmail.com showing clicks in my stats. I attached a screenshot. As you can see, it pretty much makes any attempt to view ROI/Profit totally useless since these ghost clicks completely skew the stats.

There was a post on getsatisfaction.com/tracking202 with the exact same problem where an employee replied asking the user to submit a support ticket. I submitted a ticket a month ago and still haven't gotten a response.

Here is someone else with the same problem that got no support response:
Stats show clicks from an unknown PPC account

Issue#2: Pixel Doesn't Ever Seem To Record Leads
I have the pixel posted on 4 different networks, and it has never once recorded a lead. I also tried the postback url, but that also didn't seem to record any leads.

I set up a test page for this. Here are the steps I took:
1. Set up an aff network called testing
2. Set up an aff campaign called testcampaign. Set the affiliate link to http://mydomain.com/testconfirmation.php?subid= and put the tracking pixel on this page.
3. Set up a landing page called: testlandingpage.php, uploaded this to my server.
4. Got the landing page code:
- Pasted the javascript on testlandingpage.php above the </body> code (landing page had the basic html/head/body tags)
- Pasted an a href tag with the outbound affiliate link.
5. Set up a mock test ad
6. Got the code link for the test ad.
7. Entered the test ad link into my browser, which directed me to testlandingpage.php
8. Clicked my outbound affiliate link, which brought me to testalmostthere.php?subid=xxxx, the page where my tracking pixel was.

No leads shown. Did the same thing with the advanced landing page set up. Still no leads. My outbound click on my landing page also weren't recorded, but that's another issue. Uploading subids manually does work, but its extremely time consuming, and it isn't useful if I want to track leads on my own confirmation page.

This should theoretically get my pixel to fire and record a lead right?

Here are some old support post on this that went unanswered:
pixel no longer firing
Pixels not firing

More posts:
P202 Pixel
Pixel not firing
There's support here, but the solution seems to be to use the postback URL.

I've uploading a postback URL and I can't get it to record leads either. I've uploaded it to different networks, and I also manually appended subids to the end of the postback url. Still no leads.

I also tried calling the postback url in my confirmation page with an img tag using the following code:
<img src="http://static.tracking202.com/gpb/e985l397408x5u9?subid=<?php echo $_GET['subid'];?>/>">
In the source, the subid was correctly appended to the postback url, but no leads were recorded.

Postback Pixel Not Firing
There's a suggestion here to try moving the pixel. I'm not sure what this means exactly, but I tried appending the pixel on a different location in the body of my test page.

I've always heard good things about tracking202, and I can see how it would be a great tool if I could get it to work the way its supposed to. ANY help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I've never heard of that first issue - but sounds like you're not alone. Quite a strange one.

As for the postback/pixel issue, I noticed it stopped working several weeks ago on one of my T202 test accounts (still not working)

Your answer to both of these issues is to either install Prosper 202 or go with another tracking solution such as Bevo. Unfortunately T202 really doesn't cut it anymore. Having said that, I use Prosper 202 and it runs like a dream.

    Cheers

Perhaps everyone who works on Prosper is concentrating their energies on that Prosper202 v2.0 that my wait is over for?

In all seriousness it is one of the few games in town right now for decent tracking until something better comes along.
