Hi all,

I'm thinking about using classified advertising for leads and/or sales.

Have any of you had good success with it.

Any recommended software that auto-submits.

Any and all input would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Does classified advertising work? Well, for who? The affiliate or advertiser?

Its great for getting quick leads, but horrible for turning that lead into a sale.

You won't last very long in any CPA network using classified ads. Mostly due to how the ad is written. Usually providing claims that are basically lies.

Classified advertising will be benefited for certain products which can be distributed locally. It is more practical with the affiliate services rather than affiliate products. Most of the free Craig listings will expire after a month time. Hence you may need to update the ads very frequently.

The above answers are confirming my own experience... it takes a lot of work and the results are +- nil. If you should try then I could recommend classifiedsforfree.com they have a very easy to use interface and renewal function - you could try usfreeads as well ... but there are so many out there.I have a huge updated list if you like - let me know I could post it here.

The problem using this type of software is that they don't usually updated their database or algorithm,. once a classified ads changes its logic or program, then it's becoming useless.

Be sure to check all the sites manually one by one if necessary to see if your ads are indeed being posted because mostly, this type of software will only posted several ads out of hundreds of classified ads in their database.
