Is anyone out there making any good money with amazon? I thinking about trying this out but want some insight if you have experience?

Also, is there only money in the big ticket items or are people able to make profit off of 7% commission selling 5 dollars goods?

I am by no means making big money yet, but Amazon has provided a steady stream. You have to go with big ticket items. I have one blog that talks about and reviews a particular laptop that I have and like and can talk about a great deal. I don't work this site as hard as I should and on a good month I'll get sales in the teens at $20 per laptop.

I have Amazon products on several other sites and Hubpages that I don't focus on. I'll get 20 to 30 sales a month and make less than $30 commission. I'll take $320 with one site and less work over $30. You'll have to make a LOT of sales on small ticket to make it worth it.

Selling high ticket or small ticket is just a strategy. You can't just aim the high ticket items, we need to sell the low ticket items too.

Low ticket items is tend to be much easier to sell and people tend to buy a lot of them. The referral comm based on the number of items you have already sold, don't care which is high or low ticket items.

So, my suggestion is use your low ticket item sales to boost your commission rate while selling your high ticket items as your main concern.

It's just your strategy, you will doubled your income if you could reach the highest % of commission, by selling many of low ticket items

The main advantage with Amazon is that people are confident to shop with them and they buy multiple different products but the cookie length is the main issue.

Some of the sites where I promote physical products not using Amazon the cookie length is 30-90 days and people often purchase a week or two after first clicking through so you'd lose those commissions with Amazon.

Different sites/products do work better with different networks though so it's worth testing and you can always change.

I have been promoting a mixture of both. By no means, am I making a lot of money using amazon though. I do try to focus the majority of my efforts on items of $100 or more and occasionally throw in some lower ticket items, perhaps books about my niche.

Do any of you care to share how much you potentially make a month. Do you considering it worthy to give a really shot...or do you think CPA is much better to devote time to

No doubt that Amazon is one the popular and reliable affiliate network but they pays lower commission on products. But you can sell products frequently as most of the people trust to purchase their physical products from Amazon. I think you shouldn't waste your time anymore in thinking and surely can start start with Amazon.

I think Amazon still one of the best network. If you are totally new beginner in Internet Marketing, why don't you try Amazon first?

They are offering us with good commissions, up to 8%.

I got my very first IM earning in Amazon, and until now i still get sales from there. Very good, right?
