How to choose domain?

Could someone give me a generic example of how to choose a domain based on product?

Let's say I wanted to focus on a specific skin product, would I create a domain specifically for that product or broadly which could cover multiple products?

Well, it depends. Some CPA offers do not allow to use their brand names in the domain. If you are targeting a specific offer, then use a domain for that product.

    Hi Chris215

To choose a domain name, you have 2 ways to choose from:

1- If your goal is to get free traffic from search engines. Then you need a sub niche or sub sub niche.

2- If your goal is to send paid traffic. Then you need a more general domain name for your niche.

could you explain sub niche? I plan on going after free traffic first than jump in paid traffic once I gain more experience.

thanks all, I wanted to follow up with another question.

It is more important to focus the domain around the keywords regardless of it's domain correct? (The domain i'm thinking will have the main word but not keywords available)

As long as you don't infringe on trademarks and you are targeting a specific product go with a more specific domain.
