hi,

i'm thinking of signing up with maxbounty, but
am not sure what they are expecting to see
in the URL field (on the application page).

will any site url, that belongs to you, be ok?...
or does it needs to be a marketing site?

thanks,

They want to see an example of one of your websites so they can see what type of promoting you are doing.

That is pretty typical of CPA sites.

      hey jeff,

so the site doesn't have to be about marketing,
      it can be any premise...

all they are wanting then is to see how you are
      promoting <whatever> site, right?

When I applied with max bounty several years ago I simply had a 2 post blog on blogger.com (which was free of course).

It was an affiliate page for a health product on clickbank.

They may ask you several questions about what your plans are.

Showing your interest in promoting offers by PPC is always a good thing for them to hear.

Also letting them know of any experience that you have with marketing is always a plus.

This worked well for me and got me into the major CPA networks.

They will want to see that you have the ability to have a website.
They will probably also ask a few simple questions about how you will promote the offers. Don't be scared of these questions. If it on page advertisements then thats great. PPC ads will be great too. Article marketing etc.

Just give them some honest answers and they will be happy to help you get started.

    Enjoy.

When i applied to Max Bounty i had a website related to what i really wanted to promote. They will ask you a few questions on how you intend to promote your website, what traffic methods you will be using etc. As Paul said above they like it when you say you will be using PPC. I also said i would be using some article marketing maybe. Dont be scared though just be truthful and dont try to bull**** them. Be honest. Your Affiliate manager is there to help you.

    Hope this helped

I thinks the URL field it's not so important. I don't don't remember if there's a comment filed within the MaxBounty sign up process. If there isn't, send them a mail explaining in detail how you are going to promote the offers.

Your alright. Don't just put anyone's site in the field. What some people say is to put the promotional method in the url field for ex: Email.com. and then in the comments explain. You can also use Google or something major so the AM's know for a fact that your not trying to push the site off as your own. I have heard of someone using 7search.com in the URL field and even after numerous explanations over the phone and a explanation in the comments field; they still assumed the affiliate was pushing 7search.com as their own website. You may come across a network like this who is not too familiar with anything, but about 99% of the time, you can explain yourself easily.

When I first got into CPA marketing a year ago, I didn't have a website.

      I just put 'dependingontheniche.com'.

      And I IMMEDIATELY CALLED THEM.

Don't be afraid to call the networks. They are not going to eat you.

If you are rejected, so what? Call again.

  • Exactly or just go to another network. There's plenty out there.
