Convert at Exit Popup by 14%. Is it normal?

Hi;
I'm so lucky....when people search ipod touch 4 free, one of my blog post, got first page.

So, when I noticed this, I insert a CPA campaign.

After months, I got NOTHING !

Then, last 2 weeks, I installed an exit popup that will open when people leave that particular page.

Only after day 1, I got my first lead. (the offer convert at email submit).

Till today, I only got 3 leads, which in percentage it is 14% out of traffic come to the exit popup.

Is it normal?
Or below the normal?

Any idea how to increase conversion from my method?

Thanks

I'd be Happy With It... But I wouldn't stop trying to scale it or replicate it. Times can move fast in this game! Even if you're only getting two conversions a month--- its working, and needs to be scaled! Keep taking action and you keep finding flowers while you push through the weeds.

If you feel like you can't scale (more traffic), try to replicate... Create "spin offs" of that working idea, and then build as many of them as you can!!!

    Congrats friend

I'm not an email submit guy... but after re-reading your post... here's an easy way to replicate that campaign.

Copy that exact same blog post into a new blog post.... over and over again, replacing your current keyword phrase with one from each offer available as an email submit... for example, you could replace ipod touch with "macbook air" and already have 2 running. You've at that point grown your business by 100% ... Still might not be big bucks, but its growth and progress. Now do it again with "Walmart Giftcard" and you get yet another winner.

So repeating myself a lot.... Replicate when you have trouble scaling.

      This is really cool idea.
My blog is talking about IM, so not appropriate to make that kind of post, but I figure out, it will be not a problem, if I change the date to maybe last year date for example. What do you think?

      Will it effect the SEO?

Sometimes it's possible to get better numbers, but I wouldn't say that it's unusual. Chances are that you still can improve it, but 14% isn't very bad.
