Just got accepted to several Affiliate sites! what to do now?

I know of many strategies but I feel I want to discuss some of them here. My plan is to do a keyword search based on low competition high search volume and decent CPC. After I figure out a site I want to make what do I do? Do I build a 1-2 page site based around the keyword then submit it to google add my affiliate links and adsense. Would this work am I missing some steps any advice??

    1) do ppc with google adwords

    2) try free ways to promote like facebook, article marketing and blogging

    3) after a while build you own site and do seo for it. this will be easier that way to move all your adwords campains and links from articles to the new site, so in this way you dont waste your time
