Question about being accepted into CPA networks

Hi, I'm wondering about how to get accepted into CPA networks easily. (I'm a newbie by the way)
Can anyone offer tips?

Can someone help me with how CPA works as well? I know they give offers, but do you have to bid for them? I don't really understand the system well as I find the learning curve quite steep...

Much appreciated!

Find three things CPA networks do not want - disqualify yourself of those three things. Worked for me, never followed any guides and I got accepted into CPA tank. Didn't have a website or any experience.

Three things I used to qualify myself were:
I was going to use ppc
    Build relationship with list
Generate quality leads and let advertisers sleep happy at night.

    Worked for me.

Wow thats a good guide but not necessary if your an affiliate . Just pick up the phone and call. If your going to be an affiliate you should atleast be ableto pursued a network to accept you.

    Hi, wishfulsuccess

Getting accepted into the CPA networks is something that frustrates many marketers. That's because so many are used to the automatic acceptance that comes from most of the affiliate marketing networks. CPA networks are pickier because they want a higher quality marketer.

The first thing you need to do is select the networks you want to join. That's right -- you're going to join more than one. That's because there are likely a wide variety of offers you want to choose from on the different networks. Something that is available on one network may not be available on another network. Also, you should pay close attention to offers that are available in more than one network. That's because the payout is not always the same! You might find that the same exact offer pays quite a bit more on another network.

After you have determined which networks you want to apply to, go ahead and find their application form. They will likely ask you questions, such as how you intend on promoting their offers, where your main website is, how much traffic you generally receive, and other questions at their discretion. These questions may be intimidating if you are new, so just answer them to the best of your ability and know that this is not the be-all end-all.

Send the application, and be prepared to wait up to a week to hear something back. Alternatively, you can just go ahead and call the CPA network to gain acceptance right away. Calling is the magic answer in many circumstances. If you are taking the time to call them and discuss things over the phone, the managers will know that you are serious about this. You'll often get accepted right on the spot!

Some networks are a little bit more difficult to get accepted into. When that happens to you, you might want to lay out the marketing plan you have developed to promote their offers. Often laying out a solid business plan will help get you accepted!
As a last resort, you can contact a successful CPA marketer so they can put in a good word for you. It usually does not come to this, but it never hurts to make these kind of contacts so you can make use of them if necessary.

If you are not able to get into a certain CPA network right now, and you have tried everything, you'll just have to move on and focus on the networks you were accepted into. You can always reapply later once you have more experience under your belt. They definitely will not turn down someone who is able to get results for themselves and for the company! Remember -- the networks are there to make money, so if you are able to help them make money they have no reason not to accept you.

    Hope this help...

There is certainly a specific terminology, others would call it jargon, that is needed to communicate and be accepted by these networks. I live in south-east Asia, although I am British and currently I am with 6 good networks which is enough for me. If you want any more free suggestions, with no pitch, just email me at ppc2cpamarketing@gmail.com because many people outside of America do have problems getting accepted and even people within America, if they don't use the right vocabulary then they will be rejected. Hope this helps. Take care Nick

David, the best way to get into any CPA network is to call the network immediately after you submit your application. Try to convince them that you can drive clean traffic and make them money, then you'll have no problem getting into any networks.

PS. You can also search on here or google for more information with keywords "how to get accepted by cpa networks" etc.

PPS. Peerfly, Maxbounty, Blamads, Leadbolt and Adscendmedia are the easiest networks to get into.

      Best of luck to you

Here's exactly what I did, and it was after getting some good advice.

I started of with one network. mtmjohn gave some good ones to start with. Follow the basic advice on having a site, etc to get accepted to one of these

I learned the lingo - words like "drop", "vertical" and "creative" so that when I talked with the person interviewing me, I could talk in their language.

I checked offervault.com for offers that were running on the network I was in and the network I wanted to apply to.

I started running some of those offers on plentyoffish.com. I lost money on some made money on others. (on a seperate note, losing money on testing is almost a given in this industry)

I applied to the hard to get into network. On the application when they asked me how much money I made and how much traffic I got I told them that these were private and that if they required the information, please just reject my application (Make them want you).

I also told them "I have been running (I forget the name of the offer) from Company A on Plenty of Fish and was looking for some more offers in the dating vertical. Thought I'd just see what you guys have to offer". This says "what can you offer me" and also shows them you have experience. They also may say to themselves "Hey, he's running those offers for them. We have those offers too. If we get him, he can run them for us" I also agve them the name of my affiliate manager - although using their lingo I said "My AM at XYZ affiliate network is John Doe.

When they phoned me we chatted for a bit. I did not BS the guy who phoned me. I told him that I wasrelatively new to CPA (which I was), but that I was not new to getting traffic (which was also true). I told him about some of the affiliate offers I had promoted and gave him the website addresses which he looked up while we were on the phone.

When he asked about what was important to me I told him that I wanted a long relationship with their company that was profitable for both of us. I told him I do believe in win-win.

        That was it.

There was 2 other pieces of advice I go that I never used.
        - go to affiliatesummit and meet the people there. Then when you apply you say "I saw you guys at affiliate summit in vegas and I talked with John there.
        - find someone who is in the network already and get a referral.

        Good luck.

On the other side of the spectrum, does anyone have any tips for getting into a CPA Network as an advertiser? What's an acceptable starting budget, etc.?

Strategy and communication are key for us. If you have a good approach (extra points for creativity) and are eager to keep us informed of what has/has not been working for you - that indicates the healthy relationship we are after.
