Is YouTube a working traffic method to a CPA offer?

So, I had people that went to my CPA ad on Facebook, but the offer didn't submit right. :/

So, I seen a WSO on here about YouTube!

Advertising a free CPA offer..

IS that a good idea?

Yea its a pretty good strategy. Depends on the offer you're promoting and who you target.
For me YouTube was good, and its free traffic. You can target "gaming" users with a free xbox 360 email submit and so on.

I use my youtube channel as my landing page. I disable all my modules, and upload my own youtube background related to the cpa offer. Post a link in the description.

One big problem with advertising CPA offers on youtube I've learned is that the only offer that really convert on there are email submit offers. The problem is those offers get the life scrubbed out of them!

So you have to triple up you're work load on there just to make a nice buck...

Over the last week ive uploaded nearly 100 videos to YouTube but only had 3 conversions. It's tough to get conversions.

I used a clear call to action, relevent tags, etc.. I don't know if it's due to scrubbing or just not enough traffic.

Do you mean YouTube Virtuoso? I bought that last week but most of the methods ive already heard of before so it wasn't anything really original. A lot of what is involved is rather BH also.

        Hello,

Yes - I've seen YouTube virtuoso - that is where I got the idea from.

The biggest thing here fellas is that it takes a lot of work to get a significant amount of traffic using free methods. Now if you do have a small income you can outsource all this hard work to freelancers from odesk.com or freelancer.com.

Good Work! 3 Conversions is 3 conversions!

The problem with outsourcing this is that you could quite easily spend $25-30 on outsourcing and get only a couple of conversions from it because video traffic doesn't convert well and YouTube often delete videos and disable accounts if someone is promoting offers especially once your video starts recieving traffic.

Ive heard using Google trends and Google insights then creating a video based around a hot topic is a good way to get a lot of traffic. This might be the best type of video to get outsourced as it's more likely to get views and won't be deleted.

I'm of the opinion that if you're going to put time and money (and time alone equals money) into anything, put it into the biggest thing.

If you want the real answer to that question go ask whatever affiliate managers you have how many of their top affiliates claim youtube marketing or "free traffic" as their source of income. Better yet, forget top affiliates and ask them if there's anyone making over $1000 a month claiming traffic like that. I can also save you some time there, the answer is no.

If you want to make it as an affiliate and more importantly make it in this business long term, paid traffic is the only way, whether its to affiliate offers or your own lead gens for building mass email lists.

Paid advertising is the one and only skill you should seek in this industry. I know there are plenty of people who will disagree with me, but like I said, go find out how many affiliates are making full time incomes or getting rich off youtube, or SEO or articles, whatever.

Paid traffic will take you from affiliate, to offer owner to any kind of commerce you could ever want to be involved in. The experience and contacts will keep you wealthy forever if you can weather the initial storm of spending all your available money at a loss while you learn invaluable strategy.

This is false in my opinion. I generate well over 1000 a month and PPC is far from my main source of income. Free methods are incredible if you master them and then in return set a side a budget for PPC to scale up those methods. Keep getting your hands dirty with these methods and your income will go up in time.

I agree, as most CPA beginners also dont have money to invest in Paid Advertising. I started with free traffic 2 months ago, made nothing my first month. Then made close to 800 my 2nd month using free traffic. I use some of that profit for PPC.

It's really not an opinion, it's fact, that's based on that actual pool of successful affiliates. There will always be exceptions, but they are the minority, the majority of full time affiliates whether they make $4,000 a month or $400,000 are either paid traffic affiliates or emailers.

And the whole "affiliates starting out don't have money" is a cop out. I didn't have money years ago when I started, I had less than no money, I was willing to sacrifice to make it work, many others are not.

Why put time into smaller money? I just don't understand the logic. Why not put the same hours into big money and get there faster?

Given the choice between put a couple months into this small time thing and maybe make $1000 a month, or put six months into this large thing and maybe make $10,000 a month, I would chase the large thing rather than the faster smaller cash, but everyone has to choose what works for them.

For beginners Youtube marketing is one of the best ways to go, it's really not that hard but you will have to invest A LOT of your time if you want to make some money out of it, 100 videos is not really that big number, you need more, 3 conversions are great but 30x more videos equals much more conversions.

While you put all you eggs in one basket aka PPC I will invest in "multiple" streams of income and dominate your 1 field.

and yes some of those streams are completely free and some are paid I just find it 100% unfair to say YouTube marketing does not work! Some people only use YouTube and make more "profit = revenue - expenses" than PPC marketers do and on the flip side some PPC marketers make 100x more than them.

The amount of videos have nothing to do with earnings. I've been making money online for over a year now and just recently decided to try youtube.
With only 3 videos I am making 50-70 dollars a day... The trick? Quality over quantity & researching what will be a hit.

Things to consider and stuff that helps:
Submit your vid to social bookmarking sites
Backlink the video with anchor keywords (WORKS GREAT)
Make sure the TITLE and TAG have the phrase you're looking for (and it's searched for alot)

All 3 of my videos are page 1 google for popular terms. How do I monetize? I created a file hosting site and spread PDF tutorials.... I place the link in description and if people want 2 download they are blocked with a content blocker. I also created a premium service for people who don't want to mess with content blockers. Till this day I've had 19 recurring subscription signups on a site that is only 25 days old

This hits the nail right on the head. Quality videos (although they don't have to be long) will always grab attention - I can get as many as 3 out of ten videos to convert because they are well thought out and visually attractive.

I can't stress enough how well blasting multiple anchor backlinks to a video works... Almost instant results (I've blasted 30K links to one video, 3 days after it's page one on google on a term that gets 74,000 exact searches monthly)

If you don't mind me asking, what tool are you using to do 30k links with varied anchors in one blast like that?

      thanks

I use scrapebox :/ It's still a useful software for blasting links to popular article sites / youtube as askimet will never ban those links. I've generated my own blog list of over 500,000 urls ... from which 100,000 posted and 30K got approved

You're going to need a fast server to do this pretty quick as working from a desktop would take a lot of time.

If you can make 10 quality videos a week for a month, you should start seeing very nice conversions.
