Hey everyone,

Here we go again! I am offering a free "newbie tip" thanks for all the kind words on our previous threads.

This tip should help YOU get accepted to your first CPA network!

  1. Be professional!
Act like you have been in the field before and you know what you are doing. At the same time be honest! Study the Internet Marketing lingo before you apply.

Get a professional website and matching email address. Believe it or not this will help tremendously. If you do not have a website try learning how to build one through wordpress or a good WSO.

If you cannot get a website try explaining that you do all your marketing through PPC and PPV. With networks like google adwords, MSN, Yahoo, and traffic vance.
2. Be Honest and Upfront

While you want to act like you know what your talking about try to avoid sounding "fake"

If they ask you a questions that really stumps you just let it go and tell them you do not have experience with that. The mention what you do have experience with.
3. Your Cell Number

If you have a rap song set as your voicemail do not give them this number! Try and have a good professional voice mail set up just in case!
4. Set Up Skype or Another Instant Messenger

Set yourself up a professional skype username as most networks now a days may even get a hold of you there first!
5. Call The Network As Soon As You Finished Your Application

This step has worked wonders for so many affiliates! Do not be scared the worse that could happen is that they deny your application

Let them know you are excited to start sending them high quality traffic and am ready to start! Just be friendly and introduce yourself and let them know you just submitted your application.
6.Questions They May Ask You

How do you promote offers?

What kind of traffic do you send? ex. PPC,SEO,PPV, Social Net

What type of offers are you interested in?

Do you have a website?

How many visitors does your website receive a month?
-You can say that your visitors vary because of your paid
advertising.

7. LET THEM KNOW YOU ARE AN ACTIVE MEMBER AT THE WARRIOR FORUM!

This is a very valid way to inform the new guys on how to approach their application & approval process, but in all honesty the way I view it is that there is a global economy online... and with this means a very diverse group of personalities. Not everyone will be the best speaker/confident communicator... but as long as you can explain your methods, make legitimate sense, and be honest... then that's all that is really needed. We're not out to take your ideas & strategies, though some networks are, but we do require you to be able to explain how you promote in a sensible manner.

Honesty and showing your professionalism has always been one of the best ways to get accepted! Of course, just taking ACTION does a lot also!

Hi imback, thanks for the great tips.

Regarding #3, I read in a previous thread that it's better to use a non-cell phone number when contacting cpa networks because using a cell number for business looks shady to some cpa networks. Do you agree?

          Yes and No.

Regardless the biggest issue here is making sure your voice-mail sounds professional and trustworthy.

Especially, if you call them first this shouldn't be an issue at all!

Affiliate networks take on a ton of risk.

In most cases they have to pay bigger affiliates weekly but yet only get paid from advertisers net 15 or even net 30!

      Think about that…

      It’s crazy.

In certain cases advertisers are late or even fight payment.

If a certain percentage of leads for example are not good, then they often don’t want to pay for the whole batch of leads.
