Can Facebook Advertising Be Used For Squeeze Pages?

A little while back all the gurus were talking about Facebook advertising like it was the new Adwords. I read the Facebook TOS but am still unclear as to whether they accept a "Squeeze page" as the landing page from an Ad.

Anyone know about this?

If you consider only their terms it will seem that they don't, but in the practice they do.

I use squeeze pages to capture leads there and it's not hard to get them approved.

On FB the CPC depends on the country and demographics that you're targeting. The US is the most expensive country, followed by AU, UK, CA and then the non-english speaking countries.

About the demographics, mature people are usually more expensive than young people.

Comparing FB with AdWords is a bit tough. It can be cheaper for some offers (like insurance, travel, etc) and more expensive for others (like coupons). Also, the platform is completely different, so just because you're paying less it doesn't mean that you will be getting the same conversion rate or EPC.

        Great, thanks for the info.

I don't want to get into Facebook PPC til I'm happy that I can leave what I'm doing now to run by itself.

        All the best, Pope.

    Yeah sure.

I do it all the time but the leads you generate are usually very low in quality. Don't expect to get a high conversion rate from facebook traffic/lead gen.

Any questions don't hesitate to ask,

If that's the case why would you continue to use facebook ads?

But when I think about the people I know who are on facebook, you'd need a miracle to get them to optin for anything".

I never got any decline each time i submit my squeez page to them but what you have to do is mask your URL to a legit one or dont use the affiliate links for them cuz they 1000% wont approve you.

So would everyone here say that Facebook ads are only good for sending prospects to sales pages, review sites and affiliate products?

For those here who are using FB Ads, what sort of CPC are you paying?
