Landing page question

I actually have a few questions, and I have been doing some searching for the answers, but I haven't been able to find the exact Q/A.

My first question is probably pretty obvious, but I just want to make sure I understand correctly. Does a landing page, instead of your ad just going straight to the offer through a redirect or 100% iframe, convert better? I would highly assume it would, but i want to confirm, since my opinion isn't the voice of reason.

My second question is about the domain. My plan is to just make a domain for each CPA offer I am promoting. It wouldn't be my ideal preference to create a website with articles and reviews, and within those promote the offers. Am I wrong in what I want? When I say make a domain, I mean just a domain with an index that is the landing page (if it is determined a better idea), or the iframe. Again, it wouldn't be my preference to build a website for each offer either, i.e. multiple pages of information about the product I am promoting.

My final question is about a sqeeze page. I am not completely sure what a squeeze page is, but from my reading, it's a page where you "sqeeze" more information from the traffic you have gotten. For a sqeeze page, the only way I can see it working, is if I created a whole website based around one offer. I say that because obviously it wouldn't work with the iframe idea. Would it be able to work having a hybrid landing/sqeeze page?

I am currently awaiting acceptance into the networks I have applied to, and these questions have been looming in my head for a bit. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

You have to test it. It really depends on the offer.

Why would you want to do that? Just a domain without real content won't do you any good. This approach used to be a good idea a long time ago if you wanted to advertise CPA offers on Google Adwords. It might be necessary if you want to direct link from FB to your offer but most likely the conversions will be awful.

You can have a squeeze page hosted on Aweber. That's the most basic form. You basically have some blurb about your offer and a sign-up for for the newsletter on it. No need to buy a domain or hosting for it.

It is hard to say whether you should use landing pages or not, it depends on the offer and traffic source.

About building entire websites for each offer, again, there isn't a hard rule. It depends on the traffic source. For example, for Google AdWords you would need to have a real, complete site, but for Facebook just the landing page would be enough.

Finally, squeeze pages are simple pages that we use to offer a gift and capture leads.

I really appreciate both of your responses. I guess that really only leaves me with one question. If I'm running multiple offers, should I only be having a site with that markets information on it? Say I'm running netflix and credit report, would the website have both, or would I make one for each market, say movies, and financial. OR, would I make a site for each offer? The reason I didn't prefer the whole site idea was because I am in no way proficient in web designing.

No one? I really want to get into this, and start acting on my learning, but so far I don't think I have enough information. These are questions I can't find answers to on the forums. Heck, I don't even know where to start, there is so much stuff to learn with this subject

peoples started using landing page as Adwords PPC will be easy with it.

second, landing pages can help you to build you list, if you converting your traffic into list.

better you use sub-domain for you your different offers

    wish you best of luck

Do you mean make a general site with different types of offers, but each market has it's own sub-domain, i.e. movies.example.com, finance.example.com?

      • Consider starting out by promoting offers from one category before adding another. Choose one product from movies or one from financial and then build the site. Let's say you like movies so you take your movies product and build a site with content related to that. After that is up and running, you can easily add other offers related to movies (DVD's, Plasma TV's) using the same site and just adding a little more (different) content related to the the new offer. Now all your offers and content are working together-much more efficient than building a weak movie site and a weak finances site with no results in either.

You'll make yourself crazy jumping around too much at the beginning. Pick one offer and category, stay with it until it is rolling, then add more.

Over time, start picking out Ferrari's and seaside mansions.

Landing pages can be good and bad for different offers. In my honest opinion the best way to make a long-term income in any niches is to start with a foundations ( your blog ) and then start to add other sources of traffic like....forum marketing, youtube, blog comments, PPC, SEO, ETC ETC ETC.

You can send all this traffic to your main website or different landing pages you have made to test with.

Ah one offer at a time. Surprisingly, I didn't even think of doing that. I've gotten so ahead of myself, I was getting frustrated thinking of a website starting out with a ton of offers. I need to just take it one step at a time like you said. thank you for putting that idea in my head. Imback, I'm really not into the whole blog scene, I would rather design a website that had content, but not in the usual blog (wordpress) layout. Do you think that would work just as well? I suppose I could force myself to blog, as another job would force me to do something I don't enjoy anyway. I will put both ideas into action. Thank you both very much for your replies
