  You want to diversify (in other words, try different things).
  
  Join money making sites, affiliate sites, put ads on your blogs and sites, etc. It takes some hard work initially, but it's possible to make $1,000 a month or more. A lot of us are doing it.

Making that amount of money is somewhat near easy when it comes to cpa, or clickbank if you have targeted traffic with at least 100 uniques a day.

  $1000 a month is definitely possible for anyone in this industry so long as they are willing to put in the groundwork.
  
  My advice would be to research the different types of promotion methods available to you and focus on one, select one method and just work at it until you are making a consistent profit and then diversify from there. You will need to really focus and learn how this industry works, understand the basics and develop the fundamentals until you are able to put together successful campaigns consistently.
  
  Break down your $1000 a month goal, work your way up to that goal, from $10 to $100 to $1000 a month, once you have found a winning formula it's usually very easy to replicate and scale that.

1K can be made in a month very very easily. You just need to start from the bottom and work hard. Honestly, just using free methods of promotion I used to do this.

If you have your own website then you can join the affiliate market like google adsense. Their are lots of website available who allow you to display their ads on your website and get paid for clicks.

Make some research on this forum as well as on famous internet marketing blogs, learn about the existing traffic sources and choose one that fits your current situation.   Find some networks that will accept Craigslist traffic and start building some landers toward CPA offers. Study all the different ad categories and then see where and how to place your own ads.
  
  You should be able to EASILY get 100 uniques per day from 50 ads a day on Craigslist.
