Newbie question about transition from SEO to AM

I worked with a small seo projects locally and it's time to scale it up a bit. I have 500$-1000$ for a start and advanced seo knowledge. Any recommendations where to invest, or start with? I also had some basic CPA research so i think i will start with them.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

I would say that affiliates offers are definitely something to look into. Most people come in thinking that it's quick and easy money but you need to think about it more towards the long term.

Also high EPC's (earnings per click) are probably the most valuable piece of information when you're first starting out. Whichever network you decide to work with, ask your affiliate manager which offers are converting best and they should be able to help you out.

    Hope this helps!

Test out as many networks as you realistically can. Depending on what sort of vertical you want to explore or how you intend to format your affiliate marketing strategy, it's a matter of finding which offers/features/service/payouts/etc. merge well with your approach. You won't know until you flirt with at least a few networks for a while.

Actually, I wouldn't say it is a transition from SEO to affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing is a model where you promote someone else's product to earn commissions, and SEO is a traffic generations strategy.

You don't have to go from SEO to AM, you can use both together. If you know a lot about SEO you can use this strategy to drive traffic to your affiliate offers.

If you already know SEO, then pick a general niche and build a site in that niche. Get it indexed and then put up some banners for CPA offers on it.

This is a GREAT idea. If you are an expert with SEO then this shouldn't be too difficult for you to accomplish.

Yep, the only thing you are changing is the point of monetization.

The heart of CPA is traffic and if you can drive traffic with SEO or with anything else, you can make money.

So if you are good at SEO, then you have the hard part taken care of. Now you just need to split test and optimize the monetization of your SEO traffic. That's the fun part anyways.

Really there is no transition needed, if you are good with seo then just pick an affiliate offer and promote it by seo
