If I submit an article on Ezinearticles, link it to a landing page where the offer
is promoted and get 1000 visitors at the end of the month, how many
CPA leads am I likely to get?

Thanks

Depends on way too many factors to determine a solid answer. The way you write, your chosen keyword, your resource box, the website you're directing them to, how well your offer matches your target audience and so on - these all play a factor.

You could get tons of leads or none at all. The only way to find out is test and tweak your methods for maximum ROI.

With respect, ZealZeal, surely you can see that nobody could possibly give an informed numerical answer to this question, or even anything more than the wildest of guesses? Clearly it depends entirely on what your landing page is like, what the offer is, what sort of traffic the article has attracted, and the extent of match/mismatch between the traffic and the offer?

      73 exactly.

Though that does depend on humidity.

      I know about these things.

I fully understand. But what about the average that I could get?

How many M&M's can I get in my hand?

You could get anywhere from 0 to 1000. Depending on all of the variables involved, I would expect closer to "less than ten".

Apologies for my sarcastic reply earlier.

It simply depends on too many things.

Are you a good writer? How good?

        Where will you post it?

Over what period of time are you talking about?

        What is the niche?

I really could go on for hours. The best thing you can do, is write the article and test it for yourself.

That will give you the answer to your question.

If I reach into a bag of M&M's and grab a handful, how many will I be holding when I pull my hand out of the bag?

Honestly, it is as hard to answer your question as mine.

There are more than two-dozen variables in a successful article, any of which can destroy your potential or make you a lot of money.

Title, timing, opening paragraph, body of article, closing paragraph, value of offer, call to action in resource box, how many people see the article, how targeted people are to your topic when they open your article, whether the reader is still researching, tire-kicking or ready to take action now...

As you can see with the general overview in the previous paragraph, it is hard to know and manipulate all of the variables involved in the process leading to success or failure.

So how many M&M's do I have in my hand now?

You actually stand a better chance of accurately answering my question than I stand to answer yours, because the size of M&M's are constant and the size of my hand is somewhat relative to yours.

Most article marketers pump out content as a routine, or sometimes they outsource it. One article is just too small a number to be statistically relevant (sorry to say). You would need a lot more volume to get anything worth thinking about.

    For example:

If you had 100 articles that each generated 1000 visitors a month. You could take a look at how targeted your content is to the landing page/offer you're promoting. You can analyze CTR, content development and other sources that could help you increase your ROI in the future.

    Hope this helps

Impossible to say, will you be linking to the article? Will you be submitting to several sites? What niche? How closely related is your niche to the offers niche? How good of a writer are you?

From experience roughly a %3-%4 conversion rate, but it depends on what offer your promoting, how well you are promoting it. What so of traffic you are recieving etc...

If you are looking for a guideline (something to aim for) aim for 30 conversions per 1,000 views.

Everyone in this thread gave you a "straight to the point answer".

The problem is that you were looking for someone to give you a numerical answer, and the reality is that the numerical answer you got may be miles off target.

I have offers that get 11% conversion, 6% conversion and 0.2% conversion. The same copywriter created all three offers.

The traffic coming to those sales pages is also a factor. Sometimes I manage to get 5% conversion on that page that normally converts at 0.2%. Why? Because sometimes I manage to get hold of some better targeted traffic.

You got the answer you needed, but were disappointed that the answer did not come in the form you wanted it.

I want my 11% offer to convert at 24%, but I can want in one hand and sh*t in the other, and you know which hand will fill the fastest.

So you found someone willing to give you a numerical answer. If your results don't measure up to his assessment, it does not mean that you failed. It simply means that you anticipated results that did not consider all of the variables that others tried to help you see in your assessment of your future potential.

It really depends on the volume of your article's traffic. If you really need great results with CPA through article marketing, start with basic keyword research analysis and SEO. This is the most critical stage for every IMer who wants to get good results in the SERPS, as well as your articles.

Make sure your keyword is not really that competitive, and at least with average monthly searches (both global and local).

It also depends on how well your article is written. There are so many issues that can help or hurt the offer and conversions.

    Keep writing!

Dont worry about how many sign ups you will get, worry about the EPC.

If the network EPC is $0.40 and you are driving relevant traffic, you should make $400 from those visitors.

That figure will vary depending on the EPC of the offer.

My top conversions for 1 month was over 50%... but I was getting really really targeted traffic to my offer.

It depends on your landing page's layout, contents, offers you choose. If you are a good writer, you can insert more offers there, because you could put those offers related together.

I think if there are 1000 visitor ,
The logic says that 15% visitor are all related to what they are searching for ,
and out of 15% means 450 Visitors 5% will be converting ,
Mean Chances of 22 user per 1000 visit .
Please let me know how much conversion you get .
