Alright so I have read a really good thread about 7Search and how someone had a good campaign and now I just read a thread that it is garbage...

Which is it?

I don't want to spend my birthday money on something that does not work and then have to wait another couple months to invest more...

Should I use 7Search or Plenty of Fish???

Thanks
#7search

Both are good, depends on the campaign you want to run.

POF is probably easier.. but it all depends on the offers you want to run.. 7search can work, you just need to learn how to use it properly

POF has a tough learning curve to it. You should probably try to master FACEBOOK first.

      Yes, I agree here.

I'm not saying that PoF is rocket science (it's not), but I'd go with Facebook first. FB has more international traffic and allows you to get started with CPC.

I don't think 7 search has a learning curve, its pretty easy as far as interfaces go. Traffic volumes aren't great, best I've ever done is a couple thousand dollars a day in profit (I know that sounds great) but its disappointing when you are maxing out the traffic.

Couple friends have told me similar, they got it to couple grand in ROI after some optimizing but there wasn't much more beyond that.

This is of course relative to the make money from home, lose weight, type keywords which is what I mainly promote on and when keywords like "make money" max out at like $700 a day that's not a lot of traffic in the grand scheme of things but 7 search is still good traffic and anyone that says otherwise probably gave up to fast like most affiliates do.

As far as plenty of fish, Ben will tell you that their standard ads are great for dating, but standard iab creative (300x250, etc) is a better bet for most offers and that's going to cost you $1000 deposit to be able to access those creative sizes.

I think 7 search is a great place to experiment with small budgets and some of their support staff is actually pretty helpful in helping you with your campaigns. The whole reason I got from zero spend to making over $1000 a day in the first couple of weeks with them was their suggestions on keywords that tend to perform better for other advertisers running similar offers.

In my experience, i'd recommend POF ads, with this you may have the best chance to have a profitable campaign asap. Good luck

If you know how to do it the right way , POF ad really works .

But , before you try POF ad , why not learn and test Facebook Ad. It is better alternative .

I'm not sure about 7search, I seemed to get a lot of Junk traffic which converted at an alarmingly low rate compared to the same campaign on another network. I was using it in the Hotel niche. Testing as always is the key...

      Hi CheckMuldoon,

We have had discussions as early as today and I wanted to let you know that I am personally looking further into the traffic you had received. Once of the things I like to pay close attention to are negative keywords that could be added to campaigns. These words can have such a poor effect on campaigns and their effectiveness so we want to be sure that going "broad" isn't going to cause the campaign to perform poorly as well. I will be emailing you back soon. I just thought I would drop you a line on here seeing you were active recently.

      Thanks,

      Brad Stanley

I think POF has better quality traffic than 7Search.

    Hi Alex,

As you know we have had some good conversations about ppc marketing and using 7Search.com. I wanted to let you know that I am here to help address other questions you might. Obviously I am not going to make up your mind for you but I just wanted to let you know that I am going to do all that I can help.

Feel free to email me any time and I hope to have the opportunity to work with you.
