Learn PPC and you are good to go.
Also if you can have landing pages designed or you can design them yourself you can make a bunch of money.

PPC is the method that most people use to promote CPL offers. However, you need to have a certain amount of budget to get started with all the testing and so on.

If you are fresh in affiliate marketing, I would recommend you to promote offers using some of the free methods out there such as using Squidoo, Blogger and Hubpages. You then can move on to using eBay Classifieds, set up niche sites or freebie sites to promote these offers.

Until you have a firm base of capital, I would not advise you to venture into PPC.

          Hello and welcome...

If you're new to ppc, then I highly recommend you go slow. There are several good ebooks on ppc. Regarding cpa/cpl's... go slow and get educated. A guy up in Canada, Gauher Chowdry is very highly experienced. There are others, I'm sure. Google 'em up, read blogs by people who are heavily into it.

I've done cpa/cpl marketing in the past with 'some' success. But it's really not my cup 'o tea. I've always heard that email/zip campaigns are the easiest and most profitable... all things considered. I also was told that by a cool rep I trusted. But do your research before whipping out the plastic.

unless you have some help or knowledge, I'd stay away from ppc while you're starting.

Start with article marketing and free methods, then once you've got the hang of things (building good landing pages, getting good keywords etc), then you can start ppc and you'll have more of an idea of what you're doing.

A lot of money can be lost in ppc if you don't know what you're doing...

Agreed, PPC is a very tough place to start if you are new. Also, notice the dates of these posts...things have gotten tougher since then in the PPC world...at least for newbs!

You could create a blog surrounding a specific product line, and do both ppc/seo
you'd learn a lot on your way; optimizing your code, urls, structure, adcopies, etc
