Best way to generate income from my content

I've experimented with CPA and had some luck but due to legal reasons I couldn't really continue using it.

I can generate quite a bit of traffic for my free game content I make, but it has to remain free for legal issues. That said, forcing the user to fill out a CPA offer won't work.

What will is forcing them to watch a video. What companies pay if someone watches their videos?

An email submit would work also, but I've had trouble finding a company which pays for email submissions.

Any ideas are welcome.

A lot of cpa networks have good amount of email submit offers, such as PeerFly, FluxAds, Globalizer and EWA Network. Check them out

You've had problems finding companies that pay for email submissions? A lot of CPA network have email submits! Go to offervault.com and do an advanced search. Select "Email / Zip Submit" in the category field and any other specifics you want to find lots of offers!

I think you're on the right track, but you're thinking too short term. You should be getting users to enter their emails, but why are you going to give their emails to someone else for $1.50? You should be locking your content with an optin form. That way you're building a list that you can continue to monetize. Aweber has a trial period of 30 days for $1. I vote you lock your content with an optin form for a few days and see how that goes.

There are several ways to monetize a website and CPA if just one of them....have you tried adsense or selling advertising space?

IF you want to continue to use CPA like mtmJohn said you could join just about any CPA network and find hundreds of email submits.

Do leadbolt or blamads have email submit offers? I'm already with leadbolt and they do pay, I just can't force my users to use the CPA link so most of them choose not to.

I can make them give me their email though.

Not many people click on ads any more, so yes I have tried adsense.

Another strategy you can use is create your own vids for the offers and place them on PPV networks

How does that work? Can you link me to an example and explain what a PPV network is, and how I make money with that?

There are many networks that would work with your content like selecting a products related to games from amazon, clickbank etc. Also consider two of my favorite networks linkworth and buysellads.

What kind of legal trouble were you running into when promoting CPA offers?

I make mods for video games and they basically say I cannot monetize the mod, directly or indirectly. Other people make money from these same mods offering file download sites for mods and run ads and force users to watch videos to get the mods. But forcing the user to fill out a cpa offer I guess is taboo, so I'm looking for other options.

Are you doing file downloads also? You could probably do pretty well with it if you have some volume

Yes I have file downloads, and get quite a bit of traffic, the problem is I'm not supposed to use CPA offers to force users to download my game mods, the mods are supposed to be freely available to the public.

Email submits would be ok, and forcing users to watch a video before the download also. But I've had no luck getting email submit companies to actually convert and work. I get a TON of traffic, so I'd like to monetize it somehow.

Not sure what flogs or BH are. I'm more of a game developer than an affiliate marketing person or whatever you want to call this.
