Hey guys

I'm not asking which network is the best, but I'm asking what characteristics create a good network?

I'll do the research myself and find a good network.

So I gotta look for Net-15? I saw net 30 is one month after your earnings are earned, I believe that's what you're talking about.

Well a lot of networks claim to pay net-15, biweekly or even weekly, but they have a minimum for each that they don't tell you about. Usually the bigger networks will offer you better payment terms, and yeah net-30 means you get paid on the 30th of the following month for what you earned the month before

I definitely look for high payout first, that makes it easier for you to make more money, and a friendly affiliate manager is very important too!

Does higher payouts look suspicious though?

Sure, someone can pay you hundreds BUT it won't last long. So I was thinking, wouldn't a network run out of money?

    Thanks for all the advice~!

Nope, if you own a network, you should know that you will need a good amount of money to back you up. All the big time networks are established and have very good rep, they wont run out of money

I read all the comments. Here's my two bit:

If you are new, support is most vital. What use is a network which promises to pay you weekly but you are not making a dime with them. So you need a AM who is willing to guide you with what to run, where to run and how to run. Also, they must show as much respect to you as to their super affiliates for you to feel comfortable with them.

For this not only you need a AM who is reachable and responsive to you, he/she also must have been an affiliate himself/herself, sometime in past, to understand your situation and provide advise accordingly.

On the other hand, if you are experienced in the industry and can locate your own offers which are converting and have necessary skills to make them profitable, you may want to stick only to larger networks for reliability with responsive and supportive AM. High payment frequency, low threshold, number of offers, offers in niche of your interest, verticals of your choice, exclusive offers, easy to use platform, flexible pixel tracking and PayPal support may be your major criteria for choosing your network.

And BTW, if you are generating good revenue for a network, I am sure they will be willing to bump your payout to match the best in the industry and even concede to your demand of payment frequency.

    Hope this helps

Feedback about the agency - Check feedback about the agency on the internet and on the Forum

Responsive affiliate managers - Do AMs respond promptly? You'll see many tips regarding building a rapport with your AM but you can't do much if they don't respond to emails or IMs. Some don't take calls on the published contact numbers.

Do they allow weekly payments albeit with a threshold? Very valuable if you are a newbie and strapped for cash. You then need quick returns. Most networks pay monthly on the first month though

Do they have many email or zip submit offers? These offers are easy to complete for customers and simple to prepare for the affiliate

Do they have good, well paying offers? Do they allow incentivization of some of their offers?

What is the feedback pertaining to their shaving? Some well known networks are known for shaving paying you a fraction of what you ought to get. You will get feedback if you go through the threads on the Forum.

Its all about the offers. Do they have offers that convert at a high rate?

Obviously their credibility in regards to payment is huge.
