Yup! It's all about the money honey. The more commissions you offer to them and eventual affiliate the better it would be for you.

If I have a $97 product and I'm paying a $50 referral fee will that be enough to get their attention?

If I can prove that I sold more than 500 units within the last 30 days, will that be enough to get their attention?

Maybe and maybe not. On clickbank there are many products which offer 75% on a lot of products valued $97.

I have a product of my own and I am offering the same amount. Don't be scared to offer heavy commissions. That way you will get a lot of affiliates promoting you which would lead to more sales thus more income for you.

Lesser commissions would mean low sales and even when you make 40% on your own product it wouldn't sum up to much.

HarveyJ talks about CPA and ryanman on info products.

What do you sell on your site anyway?
Are you expecting lead or sale?

If you sell info product, you wouldn't want to waste your time on CPA nets.
HarveyJ is right here, they're not interested.

Tangible product has too much risk for them. Especially if you ask per lead. Refund rate is one issue.
Though i see one or two there, eg. rich jerk.

Let say you offer $5-10 per opt-in. Any affiliate networks would be interested in
