Need to understand the difference

Hi All,

I am a bit confused with the working procedure of "First Page Submit" and "Email Submit" offers. What I understand is:

1) "First Page Submit" offers convert after the user fills in details in the first page and submits. However, my question is the conversion dependent on how far the user moves in the website (2nd page, 3rd page or maybe more) or the CPA marketer gets credited as soon as the user submits information on the first page and it is irrespective of the fact that whether the user continues with the next page or not?

2) Same question for "Email Submit" offers as well. For me to get credited, do the user need only to submit email and things are done irrespective of whether the user moves further or not?

Looking forward to responses.

    Hi Bumba,
Yes you are right, first page conversion is when a user fill out the 1st pages even if offer have 9 pages. Most of the information are in the first page like Name, Email, Zip etc ..
Email submit is when a user fill his email address. Same for the zip submit.
You may see lot of clicks with no conversions and that could be caused by many factors like EPC , Scrub and traffic quality.

    Hope that helps

      First of all,

Thanks for your reply and providing me with the answer. Yes, I actually had bad luck with Email Submit offers earlier. But, anyway, I will try it again, probably with PPC marketing.

Can you please let me know what do you mean by EPC and Scrub? I assume EPC to be Estimated Cost Per Click (May be, I am wrong). What is Scrub though?

Mahmoud linked 2 good posts to explain these. EPC=Earnings Per Click and scrub is when the advertiser doesn't count your lead for on reason or another, in many cases due to them already having the e-mail in their database, etc. Check out the links he put though, I can't explain it better than Will (PPC-Coach).
