Amazon image link code question
Just a quick question regarding the code Amazon gives you to paste into your website.
The code it creates is rather messy and for the image links provides an image which doesn't fit.
I have changed the image to fit and have removed all of code except for the actual link to the page.
So originally the code would be
<a link code including affiliate id> <image code provided by amazon including affiliate id> <another image for the product> </a end link>
I dunno why it provides two image tags?
Anyway my revamped code is simply
<a link code including affiliate id> <image from my images folder> </a end link>
Will the link taking them to the relevantpage be sufficient for amazon to track this user from my website, as it has my affiliate ID associated with the URL? Will getting rid of amazons messy code have any adverse effect?
