LinkShare Leads Not Calculated - Do You Have this Problem?

In November 2008 I joined LinkShare with one of my niche blogs (about car loans) and picked one of the car loan advertisers inside LinkShare (they had to pay me any time I referred them a lead)

Everything was fine, my blog is Google page 1 for a number of keywords in my niche - within about a month blog generated nice number of impressions, nice number of clicks on the banners of advertiser - these are my stats from inside LinkShare account:

impressions - 681
clicks - 158
CTR - 23%

As you can see from CTR, I have very targeted traffic - this is traffic from Google page 1 in this niche. But - NO leads calculated.

I contacted both LinkShare and the advertiser (whom I brought car loan leads during these harsh times of recession). Both the advertiser and LinkShare admitted they have a problem, and that this is a problem with their interface to display my leads that I had generated.

Seems to be great: they answered and admitted there is a mistake.

BUT they are fixing this issue for already over a month! Every time I contact LinkShare, they report to be working over this problem. And I assume that other publishers in LinkShare might also have the same 'interface problem' with leads, without even knowing that they are making sales and the sales are not displayed.

Anyone else has problems with leads (and hence - sales) display in LinkShare?

If yes, what do they answer you?

I don't think so! Merely 158 clicks can not be judged for generating any leads. Keep an eye on number of clicks Linkshare is showing everyday! You will soon get an idea if you are truly getting leads! In my view, it should be between 300-500 clicks.

Even Google page 1 is not the guarantee of making great sales unless you are ranking high on "money making" keywords. Auto is also another saturated market now!
