ok im not sure how it all works, for example if i posted a video on youtube, do keywords come into it? im assuming that keywords matter the same as articles for example, so it can come up on google in a better position

      thanks

Correct. Make the title of your video equal your long-tail keyword. Do some social posting, spread it around the RSS feed sites... you should get a fair bit of traffic.

One tip though - make the video useful at least. I see no end of videos where people post any old video crap and expect it to get traffic. Depending on your niche, try and do something that could go viral; the kind of videos I receive from people in the office, from friends, etc...

          thanks for the advice

when u say the kind of video people get in the office, is it ok or ethical to get a video that exists and put ur own cpa offer into it? just want to do the right thing, or do u think its better to create your own original video?

          thanks

Try it both ways and see what works best.

Original content is always king in my opinion.

However, I don't see why you couldn't take a video (that has no copyright), duplicate it, and have a link to a CPA offer in the description part. Is that legal? Yes, if no copyright. Is it ethical? That's probably a personal opinion.

When I said "the kind of video people get in the office"... for example, I might get an email to a youtube video of some guy making a fool of himself trying to park his car, or having a crash somewhere. This kind of 'funny' video travels like wildfire; someone sends it to 20 people, 10 of those probably forward to another 20 people each, so on and so on...

Now I'm not saying the take up rate is going to be high with this kind of 'marketing', but if there's a tempting link for something FREE, then you could get quite a few people clicking through to it. If they only need to enter their email address to get something, conversion will probably be high....

You'd obviously need to check the T's & C's of the CPA offer first though.

            Just a thought.

Pick one side. Quantity or quality. Both works.

For quantity, just download some cool video. Make it unique by re encoding it. Put watermark in the begining and end. Repeat this as much as possible. Then upload it with different titles.

Going for quality. Make your own video. As good as you can. Fake the views and favorite to boost the ranking. Ask blogger to put it on their site. Google acquire Youtube. Since then every backlinks help your rank.

That's pretty much tricks that currently work.

Ow, c'mon. Faking views is easy. All you need are proxies, bots, or even getafreelancer

Quality. Faking is just for boosting up there. You won't need this later.
Quantity. Who cares, just build more accounts. Post more videos as much as you can. Lower down your competition, flag other ppl videos :p. Just kidding. I'm not teaching bad things here. But that works.

Go for quality. Works best for long run.

viral videos work the best on youtube
also if you can "video comment" on highly viewed videos you have a high chance that people will watch your video too.

Also you can try to get a wider distribution of you videos bu submitting it to other video directories like ifilm etc
traffic geyser is a tool that helps this process
