How to Promote Gift Card Offers

I'm looking at MaxBounty's listing of ads, and many of them pertain to gift cards at various stores. They pay under $2.00/conversion, and I'm wondering what is the most successful advertising medium for these, and I want to hear tips on what kind of content should go into a landing page for an offer like this.
#card #gift #offers #promote

i have been tempted to use print media, small display ad in local free newspaper. people do read them and you can buy a test ad for 75 dollars.
they go to 75k people, something free should do very good.
    that is my next move....
    best of luck

If they have banners for these offers you could do a display campaign on BlogAds or one of the media buy networks. Also, go the 7Search and do a PPC campaign biding on brand names for these offers (such as "Best Buy" or "Subway", etc. No problem in direct link to the offer itself.

There is an affiliate manager who posted a thread about this couple months ago.
Even though he doesn't tell how to set up your landing page etc...he shared some insights on how to run email/zip submit on PPC.

    Hope it helps.

One of my very first "campaigns" using gift cards was promoting them through the power of YouTube.

I would create a crappy short video that basically says "Get A Free Amazon Gift Card" then I would just add my cpa link in the description box.

A little tip for you... The higher the quality and the more information you give to the viewer the higher your click through rate will be to your cpa offer.

You would target the demographic that would like that certain store, from there the opportunities are endless

I would say that ppv works well with these kind of offers. ppc could also work, but you would have to watch your margins very closely. Twitter might also work well.

PPC and fliers are most effective, online and offline respectively. The link with tips pertaining to PPC is given above. Fliers can be targetted onsite i.e. Best Buy gift card fliers can be distributed outside Best Buy - the fliers should have your link on it.

  • paramongoose is correct. PPV "can" work well with these type of offers, but you really have to study your audience. With payouts being between $1.30 and $2 for an email zip on average, I wouldn't test them out with PPC at first.
