Hey guys,
One of my biggest issues on my first CPA campaign is whether or not to set up an opt in.
I know the "money is in the list".
However, does setting up an opt in make sense for any and all types of offers?
For example, zip submits.
Would it make sense to put an opt in on a landing page on an offer to receive coupons or gift cards?

I would think the user would exit right away if they see that they have to fill out an opt in, them receive an offer to fill in their email again plus a zip code.

While I am asking the question, do most of you guys redirect directly to the
CPA offer once the visitor hits the submit button on the opt in?
Or do you make them do the whole verify their email process then send the offer in a follow up email?

Thanks guys! Still a noob at this CPA stuff

    Hi,

Most of email-zip submits offers don't allow email traffic.

Building a list is good for long term business and you should do it, And you have to do it in the right way to get the best result.

Keep in mind that you have to offer your visitors something in exchange for their email address, like a free report.

I would say yes if you are going to sell products to your list or any other type of campaigns like limited time offers.

Thanks for the reminder Mahmoud. I had totally forgotten that I must offer something FREE in exchange for their email.

I think the best thing to do for a zip submit is to just apply a "Click Here" or similar button on my landing pages.

Makes sense based on your suggestion. Will only apply an opt in when offering something FREE makes sense.

      Thank you!

I didn't know that email submits wouldn't take email traffic. Why wouldn't they?

I ignored "the money is in the list" for almost a year and a half, and that was the biggest LOSS of my life. I could have made double what I make in a year if I would have started building lists in the start! the money REALLY is in the list.

The good thing about list building is that you can get a lot more out of one person in the long term if you manage your list right.
