Yes, but it can be quite challenging if you don't know what you are doing.

Google doesn't necessarily care if you direct link. However, some affiliate programs do. In addition, if you do direct link, you run the risk of getting your account banned if the affiliate's landing page runs afoul of AdWords TOS.

No dude, don't try it because it won't last long. Google will ban your account very soon. It also be very challenging to get your ads approved.

You better try 7 search as you can direct link any offer. they are very affiliate friendly. If you want search engine traffic, try bing, yahoo. You are more luckily to run those offer then adwords

      Stop spreading goofy rumors.

That said, you really need to know what you are doing before jumping in. You need to read, re-read, and understand the TOS before using AdWords.

I've written many threads and replies here in the forums going over the basics. I've even made a free guide available on the subject.

Google wants positive user experience by anyone clicking on an AdWords ad so you need to understand how to create that positive experience.

Email submits can be tricky to promote. However, I am currently working with a client on a similar offer and fully expect the landing page / site to be approved sometime in the next few days.

Google doesn't like "thin sites" and an email submit is the definition of a thin site. Us as affiliate networks and merchants have no issues and the traffic is very good. But you don't want to lose your google account so please be careful.

I guarantee if you run an email submit on adwords, you will be banned almost instantly.

Nope, not even remotely accurate. I know this for a fact. Not sure where you are getting your information from.

          LOL

If you DIRECT LINK to an email submit you will be banned immediately.

I said if you RUN, (meaning direct link) to an email submit you will be banned immediately.

I know that you can be an affiliate with them by giving them what they want. The problem is most pay per click marketers do not want to put in all the work to build out a real site offering real value. They want quick hits. I totally get that it's not what they should doing, but that is why everyone says Google hates affiliate marketers.

Everyone should say Google hates affiliate marketers and internet marketers that don't provide any value instead.

You mean the poll technique? That doesn't work on Google's search network anymore. If you haven't been banned yet, it's coming, it could be tomorrow or it could take 6 months, but they'll catch it. I've been teaching that technique since 2007. It works on other ppc engines just fine though.

Well, of course direct linking to an email submit will get you banned. You didn't clarify that. I certainly agree with you on that point.

Thanks for letting me know. Must have gotten lucky with whoever was reviewing my ad, but good thing it's the only one of that sort that I have up. Looks like i'll be shutting that campaign down. Lucky cause I've been running it for a couple months now. I guess that's another thing that people seem to be turned off by from Google, or any other PPC network for that matter, is that the people who review the ads may be inconsistent at times. However, I'm sure once you get a solid grasp of what you are doing, anyone can consistently have profitable ads approved and up on any network. I'm still trying to learn all the ins and outs of Adwords, but for now I tend to use Facebook ads more as I have a better understanding of their system.

There are PLENTY of ways to implement email submits into a quality (and AdWords-compliant) landing page. To be honest, it's really not even that difficult if you are just a little creative.

You can promote CPA offers with ppc, however Adwords is very picky and would be very hard to get anything like an email submit approved

Agree with Chris I would Google absolutely hates email and zip submits and they are not the way to go. They deem these are poor experience for their users. You may get around this for some time but you will end up with your account banned sooner or later. Now you can indeed promote a high quality cpa offers (direct linking). And which are high quality cpa offers?...
well, there is no exact science to that but some of them might be like short forms Home improvement, Grant, Education, Finance etc. Just do some research about this topic (I cant tell exactly). But not email and zip submits

I was direct linking to what I would consider a high quality offer (a retail site) and I still got banned. I've searched many times through their TOS, trying to figure out why, and I'm at a loss...

Nope. Incorrect. Google dislikes thin content sites, regardless of what you are promoting.

A thin content site is a site that's "thin" on content, meaning it contains very little helpful content. For example, many folks here believe, incorrectly, that promoting affiliate programs and CPA programs are against AdWords TOS. This is not correct.

What AdWords dislikes are landing pages that lack helpful information.

For example, a thin-content page may be a product review that contains nothing more than scraped content from Amazon. A quality landing page, on the other hand, includes multiple reviews, star ratings, product comparisons, etc.
