Okay so I got 174 clicks and 4 conversion on small submit that pays about $2 per lead? I am just breaking even because I have spent about $11 on the PPC..And the conversions so far are all for different keywords..

Can anyone give me any advice?

If that's your first ever campaign, it's doing excellent. You're very lucky to almost break even right from the start.

Now you need a LOT more traffic before you can make any decisions or optimize. So keep spending money. You won't be able to see any trends per keyword if they've only got one conversion each

If your payout is $2, I'd say that once you've spent around $4 on each keyword without any conversions you might want to consider pausing that keyword. There are no strict rules though. If there are other factors affecting your results besides just keywords you might need to spend a lot more than $4 per keyword.

Yeah, It's my first proper campaign..Was surprised myself...Yeah I'll wait it out until maybe tomorrow then pause all the ones without conversions after so many clicks.

Forgot to mention, I am averaging 0.08cpc

        Cheers for the help!

Hey yeah very cool. If you;re breaking even then that is a good start. Next go back in and figure out which keywords convert (tracking) and then ramp up and do another campaign and split test with another ad. Test and test some more till you make a profit.

I am on 7Search so don't know if I should split test or how to scale once I pick the profitable keywords for that matter. New to CPA..been in other areas of IM about 2 years now.

    EDIT: Another conversion

Breaking even is always a good start. The position your in now is a good one. Your able to keep your current campaign going an start focusing on split testing more ads with different creatives to see which convert better.

That's a decent start - you will need much more data, have you been tracking your keywords to see how much you've spend vs how much you've earned for each keyword?

Yes, I have been tracking them by subid so I can see the keyword that converted beside the offer.

I have only got 6 conversions with 245 clicks, not sure how good this is..

I have 75 keywords chucked in to the campaign....

only 5 of them have converted with 2 conversions on one keyword.

And for keywords only half of the traffic I am getting is classes as unique..

    Hey

I simply cant afford to spend $8 per key word....as for the ones that have converted, I have made profit on all of them so far, I am only making a loss because of all the other keywords that arent converting yet..

Well, you could always try pausing all keywords except for the ones that have already converted and see what happens... but in my opinion you'll have a hard time succeeding with paid CPA marketing if you can't afford to lose at least a few hundred dollars overall before making a profit...

Yes, unfortunately you lose everything. Some campaigns become winners, and, in my experience, most do not, especially when you're experimenting with a new niche & traffic source etc and don't really have any idea what works well yet.

Here's what I would do: That's still not much data BUT if you think you can see any significant keyword trends (like... did you get half your conversions from 1 keyword?) then see if you can continue getting profitable traffic from that one keyword. Otherwise, I'd consider ending that campaign if I'd spent $40 and made $16 on an offer with such a low payout (the lower the payout, the less revenue you need to see trends, for obvious reasons). Sometimes it's not the keywords... sometimes it's just that a certain offer doesn't convert well on a certain traffic source... or maybe it's just a bad offer... or your ad copy needs to be improved... there are a lot of factors. If it looks like it's going to take a ton of optimizing and lost money to get a campaign profitable, I'll often give up and move on to something easier. There are no hard rules though!

Try finding the offer at another network for higher payout. And/or ask for a pay bump at the current one. Use only keywords that gave u conversions.

For a beginner these are impressive figures. I would like to see more results before deciding my future course of action though

Got a rise, don't see this campaign being profitable..Not enough conversions with the amount of clicks..
