I need to take advantage of these offline CPA ideas (newbie help)
I just can't get over that colocleanse is paying $32 for me to get them leads just so they can send out free trial offers something almost doesn't even make sense how a company like this makes money if they're BOTH giving away free trials and on top of that paying affiliates as much as they are per lead.
But I don't want to drive myself crazy over this all I know is I see a ton of opportunity in getting out there and canvasing some local high traffic areas by me.
I live in the heart of NJ and there are BIG stores around me and huge populated campuses everywhere. One specifically I'm alumni at and have access to all the grounds. So I NEED to get out there and test some ideas.
Here are some of my ideas:
1) I want to advertise colocleanse at my school. But I don't have a landing page and it seems like getting a simple landing page up is a lot of bs from all the things I've been hearing about "google slaps" and what not. Can I just print out my colocleanse ads and put a "tiny url" form of my link on the bottom? I know exactly how I'm going to word the ad to catch peoples attention and I can likely get out 400-500 by myself.
2) I have MONSTER stores by me say Target specifically. I likely have one of the bigges targets by me that exist in the whole state. This Target is MASSIVE. There can be upwards of 200-300 cars in the lots on the weekends. Can I take my free target gift card offer and just storm the lots? I never see ANYONE out there monitoring the lots just tons of traffic always coming in and out.
My question is though can I just make a solid ad that put my short form url on the bottom? I have tons of other ideas too like I have a MASSIVE Home Depot by me too and again the lot is bigger than a football field and I feel like I can put ads for home depots free gift card there.
But I'm focusing most on the higher paying conversions like colocleanse for now. I mean really all I need to get is like 3 people a day and thats $100 bucks. If I put out like 500 fliers on campus, then the offcampus regions of the town I can easily get out another 500. I can also hit local gym lots like WOW, Golds, Retro Fitness for more colocleanse ads. And again I know flyers can be risky but the way I'm doing isn't going to be that intrusive as I'm trying to do smaller thick stock ads that at least look nice and don't make the lots messy.
Am I using my brain the right way does this sound like a good first plan? Afterwards I want to experiment with vids on youtube but I just need to get out there and do something now but don't have a landing page. Thanks guys!
