Hi guys, I dont get around here much but I was hoping for a little advice.

I've just lost my job of 20 years and to be honest I don;t know what to do, lol, but iv'e not come here with a sob story.

What I really need is some advice on how to get started in CPA, ideally I need around £1,000 per month but I'll take what I can get right now lol, we've all been there right?

I'm in the UK, have limited knowledge of marketing/seo etc.. and need a proven method that actually works unlike much of the WSO stuff on CPA. Ideally I'd love something that runs in the UK that doesn't require an autoresponder as I just cannot afford the monthly fee's right now, maybe after the first month profit lol

If anybody can help, preferably somebody that actually does make money in CPA rather than a WSO or info collector, I'd be eternally grateful and so would my family.

Thanks in advance.

Darren

I hope this message finds you well.

Well, you make it seem that we are all sitting here with our legs crossed on the desk, and as we snap our fingers money appears in our bank account.

In your pursuit of money as a self-employed professional, whatever your job may be, you must do things ordinary people don't. If your interest is in long-term profitability.

There isn't a single way to "get rich quick" online (or anywhere in the world). And even if there is, the personal development aspect of running a business is an extraordinarily daunting task.

You made your millions... In one day. But can you keep them during the next 30? We need discipline, as well as knowledge of what we are doing, and knowledge of other people. For example, the first step would be to figure out what your interests are. Is there anything you love doing? Other than being fascinated with the idea of making $1,000 in one month? Which really, is a speck. The Internet is one of the largest marketplaces in the world. Billions of dollars are made every day.

You have bought products marketers manipulated you into with their ads, and they didn't work. You realized that.

However, you are making the common mistake of thinking there is a "trick", or a quick way. Because those programs have taught you to think about it this way. Is it in their interest to teach you Internet Marketing knowledge? I don't think so.

If you cannot afford to survive for one month and you have no knowledge of IM whatsoever and don't have a single example of making money in the past by yourself, it is probably not a good idea to pursue this at this time. You will only go deeper into debt, and your lack of knowledge will slow you down.

    But not all is lost.

Here are things I suggest you explore:

By buying WSO products, You have already shown interest in learning from others. But you have gone into the wrong places for information. More like, you have chosen the wrong approach to it.

You thought that someone else could be so generous and nice to you as to give away secrets they have, and make you a millionaire. The world is not that nice Don't be so naive.

So you must learn to learn. You must learn how to acquire knowledge. How do you do this? By forcing yourself to read other posts here on this forum, and really think about the issues people are having and what they say in general.

Don't just browse, read and pay attention, and try to figure out why people are saying what they are saying. A lot of people here have figured a lot of things out, and they share their knowledge with others. But the problem is that the others are not listening. Probably because they are too busy thinking that "they know better themselves".

This is immature. Accept the fact that it is possible to learn from other people. You have no problem learning from books or Internet articles. But those books and articles are nothing more than other people's thoughts. Accept the fact that someone knows more than you, and pay attention. There are real millionaires on this forum. Or at least multi-thousand-dollarnaires.

At this point, when you don't know anything -- it is the perfect time to start learning. Learn as much as you can. Learn everything. Learn things you don't think you need to learn. Learn everything anyway. You will start seeing results within the first 2 weeks, if you just apply yourself. It won't make you money, but you will be growing. And as you grow... your money will grow.

Furthermore, I suggest that you explore the following possibilities:

    1) Create a website about something you like
    2) Try writing a few basic articles;
    3) Try not to think that you currently have the power to write the best articles on the subject of your website. Most likely, you don't. Most people suck at most things. Fact of life. But, if you really don't know anything about things you like, then force yourself to learn things about them. That's why I included that large paragraph above, to let you know what your approach should be.
    4) Become aware of your powers. I'm not joking. 99% of all people are clueless as to the powers they have. An example of a power is the ability to self-educate yourself.

I am not saying you are a superhero with super powers. It's not that easy. But by forcing yourself to learn new things, you physically change your brain and its consequent evolution. You don't feel motivated by any of this right now because you don't understand your own nature (not something they teach you in school, you know?) and what the possibilities are.

What I am saying is that: it is all about you, not other people. If you want to make money, you cannot avoid at least some personal development. And nobody else can do this for you, not even those WSO that sound really exciting... at first. I am not saying that all of them are junk, some people put effort into them, but they too... don't have the skill of teaching you what you need to do as a beginner, they just give you some hints as to some of the things that might work, if you put effort into some of them. But they cannot teach you how you can push yourself to become a more disciplined and more creative individual to achieve your goals.

    5) Learn to build some traffic to your website you created in #1)

    6) Place some AdSense ads on your site once you have traffic. The little money that you will make, will at least motivate you. You can definitely make $10 the first month with a website. And if you can make $10, then you can make more. As you apply yourself more, and as your knowledge increases as a result of your direct experience doing things, you will be able to make $20 the next month.

That's all I have to say right now.

Sorry if it was a little long.

    Good Luck.

Thanks, I planned to make it short, but then I got carried away I go through periods of creativity. I hope to one day teach others what I am doing.

One additional piece of advice: explore newsletter sign up forms as soon as possible. Even if you are not going to write any newsletters, master the skill of turning traffic into sign ups. Try to sign up as many people as you can, based on some niche subject.

Eventually, people realize the power of newsletters, and it may be too late. But many feel lazy about starting one anyway. Excuses include: It's too much trouble, I can't write, I don't know what to write about...etc. If you don't know hat to write about, then you dont have a business idea! And also... Newsletters are like one of the most powerful marketing strategies that are extremely effective! So if you don't want to do that, then... well, I don't know what to say.

Is it too much trouble to run your own business? If so, then you shouldn't be even running one. I think one of the common problems with people is that they enter the Internet market as hobbyists, thinking there are some "tricks" involved. Once you learn the "secret", everything will fall into place (so they think). But people who make money do not have secrets. They simply follow a plan, and do what worked in the past. Only by experiencing something we can learn, and then build our business on that knowledge. This is serious it is not like being in an amusement park. Just start doing it with seriousness, not with just basic knowledge and some hope... but really put yourself in action.

A year ago I noticed that if you want to own a successful business then you will need to also develop yourself. I started the journey of personal development... even though I hated the word. It seemed like something for wacky people. But really it is just developing strengths and awarenesses of things you were not aware before. And in a way where you actually see the truth of these things you become aware of... See, a lot of people think that they already know everything. And that is a roadblock. Who cares if someone knows more than you do? Take that knowledge from them. Experiment... be creative.

I recommend that you start with free methods. There are ways to make money from CPA marketing that are absolutely free and can make you enough to re-invest and get yourself to the next level.

You can start, for example, with Youtube. The only hard part with marketing CPA offers via Youtube is to come up with a clever way to connect the interest of the Youtube audience with what you can offer to them. Keep in mind that Youtube traffic is not in the "buyers" mode, they will likely not buy anything from you, so you should offer them something for free that they are interested in.

The key there is to create tons of videos and blast them out in a short period of time. Now what the videos should be about? Well, pick some popular topics that are "hot" at the moment, for example, celebrity buzz, world-wide-recognized events, etc.

You can use Animoto to create hundreds of videos in pretty much no time. It takes about an hour to produce like 20 videos, so this shouldn't be a problem. However, Animoto is paid, and if you can't afford it, you can still make other kinds of videos - do a voice over a slide presentation, record yourself on a camera, etc. etc. You can even use free software like Windows Movie Maker for start.

Now if you make videos, about celebrities (like I suggested above), it's about connecting that with a related offer. You can make a video about Justin Bieber's new haircut and then send the traffic to a Justin Bieber offer that is free. Or you can say aloud your opinion on Eminem's new song and send them to a related offer. Creativity is key here.

There are endless other ways to promote CPA offers for free. You can do forum marketing. Just register on internet forums in niches you are interested in, are passionate about or know something about and start posting around with a link in your signature either to a related CPA offer or a link to your website/squeeze page.

Just keep in mind that forum traffic is also in the "free" mode, so don't try to sell them anything, you'll likely not succeed. Rather offer them something interesting for free.

    Hope this helps a tad

What made you focus in on CPA rather than any other method?

The reason i ask is you have 20 years experience in a role or environment and you may have lessons or contacts you can leverage to benefit others via info products.

As someone new, what appeals about CPA?

I would say Iriss has pretty much summed it up very well. Build a blog around something you love, get / learn information as needed. Use adsense ads and affiliate links, start building a list, learn along the way and take action, take action, and take more action. Drive traffic and make sales.

As you do your confidence and speed will increase and you just continue to build your business.

There is absolutely no lack of information on how to get started online no matter what model you choose.

The fact you have to face though is, it is rare that overnight riches happen, I'm sure it has happened to the chosen few, but for the masses, they have to build and work their business tirelessly to achieve the level of success they desire. So in my opinion only, I would recommend getting a steady paycheck coming in and work your online business until it is where you want to be income wise, then go full time online. Is it possible, absolutely, but you have to work to get there. How fast you get there depends on how hard you work for it.

    Good Luck
