Cannot log into my Adcenter account

Got a message that told me to contact support, which I did. Had a chat with a specialist who told me he could not access my account because apparently some other specialist was already working on it and would contact me in about 3-5 days..

So basically, what should I be expecting? I did not contact any specialist for assistance before that so I'm not sure what's going on.. Is this basically what they do before they ban you? I'm direct-linking a peerfly offer and a adscendmedia offer, but neither one of them is an e-mail submit or anything fishy like that. One of them is a official green card lottery offer and the other one is for a popular legal music download site. I don't see the landing pages being an issue. Does Adcenter not allow direct linking?

I've had this happen. You should call their support line.

  • Yeah a lot of people have this happen. Sounds like you have been banned. In fact...direct linking? Yeah Id say there is a BIG chance you have been banned.

Well the issue seemed to be with my billing information. I e-mailed the support guy my correct info and now i'm waiting until tomorrow to see what he will say..

If i'm able to log into my account tomorrow, looks like i should get rid of all of my direct-linking campaigns..

Is it hard to get another adcenter account if this one gets banned? I've heard that it's nearly impossible to get back into AdWords, but i've heard nothing about adcenter..

Sorry mate. I have seen this a few time myself and like others have said you are definitely banned. Direct Linking to anything CPA related is gone.

So yeah, i got banned, but they won't say why. The support representative asked me for my billing info, i sent it to him, and i got this in the morning:

Thank you for providing additional information so we could perform a supplementary review at your request. Based on our investigation, your account will remain closed. Please understand that we treat unauthorized account access and billing as a very serious matter and that we reviewed your case thoroughly before reaching our conclusion. We keep security checks like these in place to protect our advertisers and our customers. For privacy and security reasons, we cannot provide details around your specific account closure, but the most common reasons we are forced to close Microsoft Advertising adCenter accounts include: bla bla bla
The funniest thing is that right after this e-mail, i received a 'Welcome to AdCenter!' e-mail.. Cheeky on their part.

I've never had any problems with my card or billing info, so i'm just wondering if they just banned me for direct linking under the pretense of some erroneous billing info?

    Whatever..

How hard is it to get another AdCenter account and not get banned for it just being 'related'?
