YouTube + CPA. Does it still work?

Hellooooooooooooooo Warriors,

I'll keep it short and sweet. I've noticed when most of the "experienced" CPA folks talk about their success using YT/CPA, it typically revolves around building a list. I get it, but that's not what I'm looking for feedback on.

Here is my set-up, and I'm curious if anyone out there is using the same thing and actually making decent $$ ?

1. YT video with cloaked aff link in description.
2. Aff link goes to my website page "A" first (so I can track using Analytics), then after 1 second, it redirects to my website page "B" (which is a 100% iFrame landing page).

This is about as straight forward and old school as it gets. Any luck??

Depends entirely on the video, the niche, how hot the topic is, the description, and the offer. Basically, yeah it can still work.. but it can be work to make it work.

I looked at this some time ago and went through a whole load of vids in the **** niche.

Almost all of the links went to dead sites, ie hostgator or bluehost holding pages. I assumed from that that people had tried it and given up.

Maybe I just picked a poor niche?

**** niche was hot back in 2008-2009. It is surely dead by now.

It totally depends on what niche and what type of video you are going to create. if you can create nice pre sell video then you can just send the user to opt-in page or straight to the offer because your video should make them decide to buy or not.

I had success with short video to offers and long video to offers. Both works fine because it totally depends on your niche.

Which niche and offer did you promote with your said videos?

That would work fine though I don't think it's the most effective funnel.

I have found it helps to have links or at least your domain displayed in video and not just in the description. Also, you can still track without having to make visitors wait the 1 second and then wait again for the iframed page to load. You won't lose too many visitors from the wait but you will lose a few

But yes, your set up will work

To get better CPA leads with youtube, you need a very simple tweak...

    Here's how I do it:
    1. Instead direct-linking the Youtube Video to CPA offer, I link my Youtube Video with Facebook Fanpage.
    2. Youtube will bring you enormous Fans in short time
    3. Build a community by sharing some tips/ info that related with your niche
    4. After you have a decent fans, you may put CPA offer links in your fan page

It's very simple. But need time...
