Is it better to have a landing page on a new domain or can it be on my existing blog page for instance: http://mywebsite.com/CPA-offer-landing-page

thanks in advance

I think it would depend on whether the offer that you are promoting has anything to do with the blog you want to put it on.
Personally I prefer separate landing pages because it looks more professional to a visitor (nichekeywordofferetc.com would be preferable over myblog.com/landingpage - but thats my opinion), its easier for me to track traffic and I have more control over the landing page design.
Depending on your budget/experience you could try both, see which one is working best and then stick with that one.

Put it up with a generic domain which has you name in it or internet marketing within the domain name so that you can use the same domain for several CPA offer landing pages.

Definitely on a new Domain. Correct me if I am wrong, but if you do it over the mentioned URL, you will have another criteria that can make the CR go down. But like CPANetDirectory says, do both and find out if the URL is a 'problem'.

    Cheers

If you're going to send PPC traffic from Google, Bing or Yahoo, I would buy a domain name with your main keywords in the URL. The search engines will see it as highly relevant and charge you less per click.

But if you're sending free traffic to it, hosting it in your blog is fine, just cloak the link with a URL shortener service that allows you to customize the name so it's more attractive for the viewer. God bless.

Wow.. yeah, I'm not aware of it until now - thanks for such great information.. So i guess it would have to depend on whether I'm going to drive traffic via PPC or FREE traffic..

the best is to point a sub-domain to promo.yourdomain.com and put up each landing page with a nice URL and use that.

Otherwise if I really enjoy Landing Pages: Create, Publish & A/B Test Without I.T. | Unbounce - you point your sub-domain there and have all your landing page generated there so you don't need to do any website coding directly.
Wow thanks for introducing unbounce.com .. I'll take a look at the website soon

      God bless all of you,
