First of all congrats movie2k, from another show entertainment site owner to another! I would suggest the following, NO on content locking, they're annoying especially on a streaming entertainment site like yours, you will make more money on the short term but you will cap your growth or worse lose viewers in the long run.

Looking over your site I see you utilize 2 square ad spaces. My suggestion add 3 more CPM ad spaces (leaderboard format/ skyscraper format). You can try casale media, valueclick media they have some good CPM rates. Every other page have 2-4 ad spaces as well. The reason behind this is I find people get annoyed with pop under ads or content locking type ads (I know they drive me off a site).

The moment these viewers find a simiilar site without these types of ads they will be gone from yours. Ad banners are acceptable as it doesnt deter the viewer, and you make some money from them. In the end of the day, your answer is are you looking for short term growth or long term growth.

The best solution in IMO would be Amazon and Ebay. Frankly get best merchandise for popular movies/videos as well as upcoming ones.

I think content locking will be a good way of making money from your video site. You have large traffic in your site, so should lock your content. I hope you will make money from your content.

Ive been review your website and your site have been my motivation to pump my own site.

I own couple the same website power with script like yours. ive been trying monetize mine with trafficrevenue.net (cpm), the result is not bad.
actually clicksor had giving me very good result, but since sidereel has put them in blacklist, i cant use it anymore i think. eventhough i still put in my website, i wanna see how long they gonna keep my site on their web untill got banned .

Have you been thinking by modify the templates to show only links point to our other website (landing page), so the embedded movie willl shown/played there. just like other site (1channel.cn,tv-links.eu). So we can safely use google adsense. Check out sidereel, they got adsense and any bull$hi# dmca/copyright things didnt work with their site. Maybe because all link point to their own website, untill we signup we cant find any link point to video site that could break the google rules.
What do you think..?
