Made my first dollar. This sucks.

Hello, I've made my first dollar online today with PeerFly and 7search, promoting 3 paid survey offers. I generated over 500 clicks and spent about $13, and had 1 conversion of $1.30. I don't feel satisfied, it took me 5 months since I found out about internet marketing to do something which took me 30 minutes to set up. On top of that, I had an over 10 to 1 loss ratio.

I'm having about 5000 flyers printed promoting payday loan offers, and a targeted audience in Los Angeles. There was a black Friday offline case study and the guy apparently made like over 3 grand profit on just his payday loan campaign, so I'm hoping to hit the same results. I'm picking up my flyers tomorrow and have them passed out this weekend. I'll come back and let you folks know.

On the other hand, back to PPC, am I wasting my time with 7search? Who's really killing it with PPC? Any thoughts appreciated, I don't have a job right now and funds are going fast, so I really could use the motivation right now. Thanks guys.

It sounds to me like you just need to manage your expectations. You say somebody made 3 grand promoting payday loans with a flyer campaign? I have no doubt that they did, but what that case study didn't tell you is how many times they had tried before that, without achieving great results. Unless your really lucky, you won't get the same results your first time either.

I lost plenty of money with my first go on 7search as well. I got discouraged too, and didn't go back to them for months. I recently jumped back in and I now have several profitable campaigns running.

I'd say you should have reason to be hopeful, actually. There are people who spend 100s of dollars on 7search and get nothing in return. You've only spent $13, and you already have proof that things can convert with 7search traffic. You've tested each campaign to about $4? That's nothing really. What's more, one of them might be optimized into a winner.

If an email submit campaign reaches $5 in ads spent and has no conversions, kill it and test something else. Keep running the one that's converting, and optimize it by blocking the keywords and referrers that don't produce conversions. If you stay persistent, you'll start producing winners.

I wish you the best on your flyer campaign, but don't expect it to put $3000 in you pocket right away. Just like with PPC, you'll need to test it to find what works, than focus in on making your campaign better.

Don't believe all the BS people sell you on their sales pages. This business ain't easy. You'll need to put in hard work to get great results, but it'll be worth it in the end.

You have tried for the first time and you want to get into profits ?

What all data have you gathered ?

Have you found the winner click, tracking, blocking bag subids ?

Too many gaps to answer your question.
