I started by just trying now i have learned my ads need to be better any suggestions.

I tried Cost per 1000 impression no clicks

please help me create better ad

Traffic on Facebook with impressions has a low conversion rate. I suggest that you go for cost per click, as recommended by Facebook itself. Use precise targeting to bring down the target market to 20k-30k and lower your cost per click. Lastly when you bid try to keep your bid in the higher range as recommended by the suggested bid.

How many different images and ads have you tried? Did you research your demographic of the offer you are promoting?

Just search google or another search engine for your type of offer and see if you can find ads that way and that should hopefully help a little

Most of the time you want to start with CPc and take the winning ads then run them on CPM. You don't want to blow your money away with out any real result.

Only time you start with cpm when you run fanpage or any kind of celebrity campaign/ Big brand. They have good following and more luckily to be well known.

Another tip, if you cpc is high on certain niche then you can try cpm but keep you spending low as possible for test purposes.

  I would agree with MAX P and aminur Starting with CPC is the best option i personally start off with cpc and test my conversion rate, And than switch ad with high ctr to CPM.
