yes - get your keyword research done right, everybody says it, that is a key factor, we all agree on that

but what I want to ask is : imagine I have found a keyword and some related keywords for a particular niche that I think may do ok ----------what do you think is the most profitable way to monetize niche keywords?

1. -adsense

2. -cpa

3. -affiliate stuff

How do I decide whether to choose number 1, 2 or 3 for my niche?

For example is an EMD more important for any of 1,2 or 3?

Which is likely to yield most cash?

Are 2 and 3 more difficult to be "accepted" on as newbies than 1?

but the key question - if you have a keyword/keywords are there any particular criteria you look for to choose between 1,2 and 3?

thanks guys

    It depends on the keywords.

Look and see what the average CPC is for adwords which will give you an idea of how much you can get from ad sense

See what CPA offers are available that will go with the keywords ,

and check for affiliate products related to them.

Then choose the one that will give you the most return for tha amount of effort you have to put in.

Why not do all of the above? Maximize your profits?

One thing to realize too, keywords and keyword research is different between platforms and advertising sources.. if your using adsense you would use different keywords than you'd use with PPC or other traffic methods

Hi Nathan, each method is profitable and there are people making a fulltime living using just 1 of the above methods only.

What is your long-term strategy for the niche? Research your competitors and see what they are doing. Use that as a basis to determine your marketing path. Highly successful blog sites often have all 3 methods to generate income.

    All the best!

I would go with having a product that you and your affiliates can promote. Can't go wrong with having people help you make more money. It wouldn't be just you promoting the product on your website, and you have a chance to make extra money without the hours of effort you need to put in to get the same results as your affiliates.

There are websites that are made for Amazon product reviews but also have Adsense ads on them or a banner promoting a CPA offer. I recommend that you begin with any one of the three and go with it until you become proficient with it. If you work hard at any of them you will see good profits.
