Most effective traffic?
Hello fellow warriors, I must admit, I haven't been much of a contributor to this forum but this forum has helped me gain lot of the knowledge that has guided me tremendously on my journey to my goal which is the one we all share - high ROI percentages!
Firstly, I'd like to share my experience as being a newcomer to affiliate marketing. I have been at it for almost a year and I have tried many sources of traffic - PPV, PPC, SEO, Free Traffic (Forums, Yahoo answers etc) and even though I have had some success, it never paid the rent if you know what i mean
(only my experience). Recently I have tried to expand my ideas and really try to put myself in the shoes of potential leads, buyers etc. However, it still didn't quite result in the ROI that I was after (but it was a good start).
In the last couple of months though, I have been working with a new traffic source that has been providing me with incredible ROI's (MediaBuys) and I have made some decent bank.
The reason that I'm posting this thread is to encourage affiliates that may be close to giving up. My personal opinion is that you need to find the traffic source that works best for you! I know that testing, tracking and analysis play a large role in maximizing conversions but I believe that your choice of traffic greatly affects your conversion rates and most of your outcomes will be greatly influenced this.
So again (only my opinion) I suggest: try as many different sources of traffic that you can - experiment with a decent investment, stay persistent and never give up! Which brings me to my question - What is your preferred source of traffic? I believe that everyone is different and everyone has the potential to succeed - but of course, it takes hard work (as with everything in life.)
