DL tracking between POF and Prosper202. Please help.

Hi all,

I'd really appreciate some help in setting up correct tracking. I'm trying to sync between four separate entities: Plenty of Fish, Mr Green's POF Uploader, the Adsimilis network, and Prosper202.

I want to be able to track all the relevant information: demos, sub-ids, conversions on both POF and Prosper202, etc.

If anybody could walk me through setting up a basic DL campaign, I'd be eternally grateful.

      Hey Mahmoud. Yes, I'm pretty familiar with the basics of Prosper in terms of setting up the accounts, campaigns, running the aff link through its crushers to get a Prosper link.

        Good, How about the postback URL that pass the conversions to P202?

          Not 100% sure about that...are you referring to the aff url we take from our affiliate network?

            No, I mean in step #8 at Prosper202 there you get your postback URL and add it with the right variable of the CPA network to the tracking place that make it pass the conversions.

            BTW, which CPA network you want to track?

              Ah yes, sorry, I do know how to get that. By the right variable do you mean adding in the [[subid]] token? My preferred network is Adsimilis.

                Np, Yes that what I mean. Now you will create a tracking link and use it in your POF ad, make sure to set value of conversion (offer payout) when you create your ad. Then from the main dashboard there you can see you ads and above that to the right you will see Conversion Report. Click on it and grab the code that works best for you. iFrame based should be fine. Take it and place it in the tracking field of your CPA network. This way you will have 2 reports one on P202 and one on POF.

                  Just to confirm, that means taking the image pixel under conversion reports and then adding it to 'Add Image Pixel' in the Adsimilis offer page (as well as the postback URL from Prosper202)?

                    Yes exactly that's what you need to do.

                      Ah, okay, thanks! That is the one thing I have not been doing to date. I have been getting clicks and conversions at the aff network, but no impressions; I am getting the impressions and clicks at POF, but not the conversion stats; and in Prosper I am getting the clicks, but again no leads/conversion data.

                        You are welcome, I am glad I could help. by placing the postback URL from Prosper202 with the right variable, tracking conversions will go well.

                        Just a point here, Make sure to select Advanced Pixel in step #8, then aff network and campaign.

      Hey Tom. I got my POF pixel and ran it through Prosper202 to get a universal tracking pixel. I handed that to my AM at Adsimilis, and conversions are now being tracked in the POF dashboard. I just wanted to make sure that I have the process right, if you don't mind giving it the once over:

      1. Get the affiliate link for the offer and insert the [[subid]] token
      2. Set up a new campaign in Prosper202 for the offer (I add c1, c2, c3 tags for gender, state and age), with kw={creativeid:}
      3. Place that link in the ads

      And at that point the universal tracking pixel will do the rest of the work, linking between POF and Prosper?

      Have I missed anything out/am I overegging the pudding? Do I need to put anything in the postback URL box of the offer if I have a site-wide tracking pixel?

    To make a long story short, you could put all that info into your subids and pass that into p202

    why does Pof need prosper tracking?
    wouldn't subid tracking at the network suffice?
    I mean we are not tracking keywords like on ad words or 7search.

    pof need tracking to utilize their conversion report.
    otherwise pof won't know which click converted.

    if pof know which click converted, then it can tell u the demographic for that converted clicks, which u can then use to laser targeting.

    i hope i'm right lolz.
