Do people really make 200+ As a CPA affiliate?

This isn't 2009 anymore.

My biggest hang up when promoting CPA offers is that

  • They're email spam
  • People catch on that they're email spam
  • No, they won't get a free ipad, even if they spend 2 hours completing offers.

Like I said, this isn't 2009 anymore. Rules are stricter, people are wiser. Do people really make money as a CPA affiliate, today, in 2012?

A lot of the videos, and case studies I see are from 2010, where people direct link free ipad offers. My understanding is that those don't fly anymore.

Let me know if my thought process is a bit off and needs to be readjusted.

If you make 200+ profit a day, I want your autograph.

There wouldn't be forums like this if people weren't making money, right?

Either way , tons of people are still making bank with CPA offers

I'm not trying to be a pessimistic. But it's very possible someone who is not profitable themselves can slap together a few case studies, curate tips from around the net, and charge 200/hour for coaching.

It just seems that people have loads of overblown claims "How I made 40,000 last month doing X" it's easy to see that, and call BS on the whole thing.

I appreciate the feedback everyone. I've always been a little skeptical to the whole CPA thing. I would love to personally shake hands with someone who profits 200/day with CPA offers.

It's not that hard to make $200/day with CPA if you're smart about it. Test the offer, optimize it, scale. Works for me.

You've only focused on one segment of CPA offers. It's ironically on the low end of the payout spectrum too.

You need to find higher offers. No one's getting rich off of $1.40 email/zip submits.

There are a TON of people making an insane amount of money doing CPA offers. Email submits aren't the only CPA offers you know, the other categories convert like crazy.

I'm running dating, bizopp, and more. I made four figure profit today, my ROI isn't even that amazing.

That's impressive! Is that profit? How many hours a day do you work on it?

One major thing I'm interested in is looking over the shoulder of successful CPA marketers. Seeing how they spend their time, how they think, that's what I'm really interested in.

Anyone can throw a FB ad somewhere, I'm really interested into the routine of a successful CPA marketer!

I'm constantly testing offers. I test A LOT of offers, I lose money on 90% of them, but I do get some winners, and those winners make a ton of money. It's all about testing until you find what works, and overtime you just know what will work and testing becomes easier.

First you find an offer that looks interesting, then you test it throw some traffic at it to see if you get any conversions. If you do, then throw some more traffic at it, look at the data, and decide if you want to continue optimizing that offer or not.

Then you just start optimizing - and by optimizing I mean testing different landing pages, ad copies, etc. Then you scale that campaign into other traffic sources and milk it for all its worth.

I'm not afraid to bid high if I can get volume. I'm willing to take a hit in ROI to drive that volume.

Once you start doing large volume, hit up your AM and get a custom payout schedule, so you can get paid quicker, and reinvest that money.

How much do you typically spend on offers that you eventually dump,

You could say thats lost money I guess but I understand that its just an investment in the future

I am curious though, what the avg amount is guys spend to test offers before they dump those offers

At first when I was on a budget, I spent about 2x the payout offer and I tried to spread my traffic throughout the day.

Now, the amount I spend varies from offer to offer, I'd usually spend 5x the payout amount for a dating campaign, or maybe 10x the payout amount for a vertical I've profited from in the past.

Very cool Viasq. I'm going to try to learn using FB.

I've been jumping around from traffic source to traffic source (like an idiot), but what I really need to do is focus down on once traffic source.

It's actually refreshing to hear that 90% of your camps fail, but when you get one, it's a slam dunk.

Still looking for my slam dunk. How long were you in a "learning phase" and more importantly, how did you learn?

ok so if the offer pays out lets say 7 dollars for some credit card credit score signup

You would spend lets say 14 dollars TOTAL? on that campaign? and then if its not producing break even, you drop it?

              Thats where I am confused
on one of the paid forums, I read this one guys threads, the guy is making bank, he gives most of the case studies onthat board (aff playbook)

He gave some examples where he was testing landing pages
every time he changed the landing page he would say, ok I let that run for 50 dollars to test. Then he changed it like 8 times so testing cost him like 400 dollars for that campaign.

So he was alloting a certain amount to each landing page test

is that what you mean when you say you test a campaign?
or is the entire campaign ..........one test. so for example all the different variations add up to each one being a test?

              thats what confuses me

You're confusing the initial amount it costs to choose an offer versus testing and optimizing an offer. The 2x, 5x, 10x I'd put into an offer is just to see if its worth pursuing.

What your guy on affplaybook is doing is optimizing his campaign by testing different landing pages. He didn't pour $400 into that campaign from the get-go.

                  OK, here is the truth

                  1. People who claim making $200+ on these forums are NOT making any money close to this.

                  2. People who make money $200+ per day, don't spend time on these forums writing ebooks and they don't do these stupid email submits.

                  3. All these CPA networks are middle man.

If you want to make real money in CPA, you need to truly understand what "CPA". Not these content locker, spaming, ewhoring stuff.

                  So don't believe these claims.

Hi no he tests 50 bucks one landing page, losing money
                  tweaks it
another 50 bucks, losing a bit less money
                  tweaks it
another 50 bucks almost break even
                  tweaks it
another 50 bucks, now its making a small profit
                  tweaks it again

I started about a year ago - and i did the exact same things newbies do now. I bought WSOs, listened to gurus, then I realized that most gurus were ****ing retards.

When I first started, I just did the free stuff (SEO, offline promoting, etc). Then I started investing money into paid traffic sources. It took me about a month and about $500 before I started breaking even.

I got into Facebook ads as my first traffic source and promoted a niche dating offer. Made a simple landing page and saw that I lost money but still had some conversions. So I started by adding things and changing my landing pages and I saw that my ROI started looking better. I kept changing my landing page, and my ad copies until I broke even and slowly edged my way into $50/day profit. I was pretty damn happy, but I wanted more. I took that campaign and scaled into PoF, and kept going from there.

You need to work hard in order to get that amount per day. As of now, I'm still trying to reach my goal for at least $10/day. I earn between $1.00-$15.00 per day, but still not contented yet. Better start with smaller goals first before you go higher.

    Guys First Of:

Yes, People Make over $200+ A Day and To be honest It isn't very hard as well !

There are lots of people of this Board making a killing from CPA and they do often visit the board

Its all about knowing what you're doing and how you're doing!

And As someone above said that Email submits cant make anyone $200 a day, Then lemme tell you that As a AM myself I've seen people making over $300 a Day with simple Email submits! The reason behind their making $300 was they knew How to promote that offer to hungry people who are desperate for it!

    Always Remember :

Only those people Bad mouth who cant actually make money from it and think all others are lying

Rather then Bad mouthing these people should consider learning it all and make some money from it not waste tie on Shouting " THESE ARE SCAM "
